"We roofed Mr. [Member Name Removed]'s house on 07/16/2014 just like he said. Unfortunately, a HUGE HAIL STORM hit almost all of Yukon and Mr. [Member Name Removed]'s house as well on March 25, 2015 just a few months later. Mr. [Member Name Removed] now has new damage and an existing leak because of a room addition that was added on prior to us roofing his house. This addition has a flat roof and was built at a different elevation than the main roof line and had existing leaks coming in from the siding. We called the insurance to come back out after we roofed the house which they did. The insurance confirmed what we were saying and they told Mr. [Member Name Removed] the leak was coming from the siding and not from the roof. [Member Name Removed] didn't get the anwser he was looking for from his own insurance so instead of taking responsibility for his own actions he blames us for the leaks. [Member Name Removed] hired the company who built the add-on and they are responsible for the leaks that are coming from the siding. It's really sad when people can't be honest about the facts. It would be to easy just to fix a leak that is coming from the roof and move on!! There is no leak coming from the roof line so we have nothing to fix per his own insurance. Blaming us for the leaks that are coming in through the siding is not right. We fix any and all leaks that come from our workmanship period! We responded to [Member Name Removed] complaint immediately and went out to his house the day of the call to see what was going on. Unfortunately, this was not from our workmanship. We offered to replace the siding an flash behind the wall to solve the problem but he did not want to start that project because the insurance would not pay for it."
"Thanks [Member name removed], we appreciate your business and review."
"Thank you for the positive review and for allowing us to do the work."
"Thank you for your review, Mr. [member name removed]. It was a pleasure to work for you and hope to be of service in the future."
"This was an insurance claim that was paid in 2012 and we roofed the house in 2014. Therefore, the cost of the materials has since increased over that period of time. The insurance paid approximately 10,300 in 2012 and we did the job for $9200, so we did the job for less than the insurance paid and we also did gutters on the house. The customer was aware of the cost of the job and signed a contract."
Meredith is the person we dealt with when scheduling the installation and she also came by the house the day the windows were being installed. The installation took only one day and went smoothly for the most part. Two screens were ripped and two windows were not chalked. My husband called Meredith the same day of the installation to tell her about the problems. The next day they were at our home fixing it. The screens were taken back to the manufacturer to be repaired. The thing I liked the most, they had people come to the house and clean all of the windows on the inside and outside!
After the job was finished, I turned the AC on because the house was 82 degrees. It took only about an hour to cool the house down to 74 degrees. With our old windows, it would have taken several hours to do it. We can truly feel a difference in the coolness of our home. We were also guaranteed that our electric bill would drop 40%.
Our overall experience was great. We felt the price of the windows was fair, especially after talking to friends that paid a lot more for their windows. I would highly recommend Lifestyle Home Improvement for any job because they are experienced and professional.
"Mr. [member name removed], It is very common for homeowners to be denied by their insurance carrier. We always recommend a roof inspection prior to reporting the claim to their insurance carrier for this exact reason. Please keep us in mind for any of your home improvement needs."
They coordinated with my insurance company, got the claim approved for not only the roof but the gutters and the garage door. After a few weather delays, in early January the crew showed up on a Saturday morning and by Sunday afternoon, I had a new roof. They cleaned up so well after themselves, it was hard to find evidence that they had replaced the roof. The roof looked great. A few days later, I came home from work to find new gutters installed. Again, they had cleaned up so well after themselves that you could not even tell they had been there.
They even submitted most of the paperwork to my mortgage company and insurance company so we could keep the process moving forward.
