My father hired Leo to build a garage onto my house as a gift for my wife and me. Leo started around February, 2014. He dug a hole to pour the cement foundation, put some boards around the perimeter of where the garage should be, tore down a storage shed and tore the bricks off the west side of our house. My father paid him $9,000 for stage one of the project. The last time we saw Leo was in late May, he hasn't been back since then. We called him several times and asked him when he was going to come by and finish the work, and his answer was "I'll be by in a couple of weeks." I called him in August, and he told me he would be out to finish the job "in a couple of weeks." And he claimed that he had not poured the concrete because it was too rainy. In AUGUST. IN OKLAHOMA.  I asked him if he could at least come by and put away some of his supplies that he left out in our yard because they were a safety hazard. He did. He came by the next day and took them away. I contacted a lawyer to see what my options were, and he told us that we could not sue because our names weren't on the contract. My 87-year-old father can sue but doesn't want to have to go to court because he's old. So we're out a storage shed, our house is worse than before Leo set foot on our property, and my  father is out $9,000. 
If you want to hire a guy that would cheat an 87-year-old man, hire Leo.

Honored the Angie's list special even though it was quite a distance to our home...was so kind and patient to my senior citizen husband...assessed out list, prioritized, and was very fair about what he could get done in the 6 hours allotted in the Angie's list special...Excellent work

My experience was not that great.  He brought someone else with him so he only did 3 hours of work.  I thought he was going to buy the products before our appointment and he actually did it during the appointment so it took up some of the hours I had allotted.  He went to a store that was far away and it took longer than expected. He also took some breaks and smoked in my garage. The work he did was very good and I had no issues with that part.

He is a very professional and curious individual, trustworthy and reasonable in price.  The most outstanding aspect of Leo is his personality.  He encourages questions and explains what he is going to do before doing it. He gave me several contacts of venders for my plumbing problems which were very helpful.  He can fix almost anything you need done and performed a quality job. Leo has  a long history living in the Oklahoma City area.  You bet I will use him in the future.

He did excellent work for us. He did work that no one else was either willing or able to do. I really liked him. He knew how to do it so he did it and he did a fine job. It was just excellent, the price is right and he was very professional, he used top grade materials and actually suggested additional things that should be done. The nature of rafter tails leaves spaces where birds can roost which creates a big mess and a problem until he suggested putting up wire barriers there, which he did. That was an extra feature that he figured out that we needed so he was very thoughtful about the jobs. We just recommended him to our neighbor across the street.

He was very reasonable. He did a very good job for us. He is very reliable. On a side note he stayed until 9 o' clock at night to make sure the work did not run into a second day. We thought that was very impressive. With regard to cleanup, he took care of everything. He hauled away our old ceiling fans as well, so he actually took some debris with him. With regard to price, I could not beat the price anywhere else. In fact, we had a quote of $700; he did it for $300. We haven't had any issues with the quality. As a whole, he was very easy to get a hold of and very easy to work with. The fact that he was willing to come and stay late speaks to his work ethic. He was very courteous. He actually went to a retail chain store for us and picked up a card. He was just superb and a real joy to work with. He called us a week or two later just to make sure everything was going fine. I couldn’t ask for more of a handyman.

The service was okay. There was only one person. I did not pay anything more than the $249 of the big deal. The price was reasonable, and the quality was fair. The responsiveness was fair, and the punctuality was pretty good.

Had to call several times to set appt. As soon as he got to our house for his 6 hours of repairs , he left to go to Home Depot for parts. He did a fine job on the attic floor repair in the garage but the work he did reattaching tiles to our bathtub/shower was horrendous. Will have to pay another repairman to undo / redo his work. He said any electrical work was out of his scope

The provider was professional and completed all projects within the 2 hour purchase time.

We were very pleased to have met him and we will contact him about those other projects in the near future.

It’s good. I like him every time I use him. He does really good work. I like the results of his work. The people are good and professional.

Initial contact was a bit of a problem; however, after we hooked up, provider arrived and started the job, which is still in progress.  He wants to be meticulous and not hurry, so he can do a good job.

Did a great job. Looked for all possible problems and fixed everything. Leo did work in a timely manner and cleaned up after work. I will hire Leo again next time I need some work done.

Excellent attitude..excellent work...counseled with us on other work needing to be done...kind and graciously spent extra time in discussion wirh my husband who is not hearing well...even ajusted our storm door for us as he was leaving...Thanks Leo

He came when he said he would be there and was very efficient in how he did his job. He has taken care of everything I needed done.

I bought the 6 hour deal from Angies list for Mr. Taylor's services.  At first it was tough to set a date, but understand when one is busy, which I take as a good sign.  I walked him through the various repair jobs (broken screen door and screen windows, etc.) and he discussed with me each one and how we was going to get it done.  He is very thorough, and even went to the hardware to buy the materials for me, always finding the most cost-efficient option available., I don't think he ran the clock on those trips because each time he made a run he came back to finish the jobs agreed upon.  He is thorough, professional, polite and friendly.  Each job was done well, and he was a joy to work with.  Will be calling him again for the future.

My experience overall has been very dissatisfying. I would ultimately like him to finish the job. I have already paid him 30% down for the job. He has already cashed the check that gave to him to get the job started. He came to the home and put up scaffolding and started a portion of the job requested. He then contacted me this morning asking for an additional 30% down for the job. I asked to come by the house to see the progression of the work before paying the additional 30% down. He then got very aggressive and agitated and ended up going off on me. He then threatened to not complete the job and take down the scaffolding and not return to the job site.  I would ultimately just like for him to finish the job.

He met with the adjustor and told me that the adjustor seemed honest and was writing up a very fair estimate.
Leo said he really doesn't do rebuilds.  He was honest himself and said he wouldn't charge anything for his service.
You just don't find this kind of person anymore.

He was very courteous, nice, and very knowledgeable and shared a lot of knowledge. Which is hard to come by when it comes to carpenters. He was willing to give pointers, how to do it, the cheapest way to do it. That to me worth more than money. I would use him again.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service and the work met my expectations. He worked us in because we had to get it done within a certain time frame since we were moving. He rearranged his schedule to get us in. This vendor was a little costly, but other than that he did a good job. My husband is a handyman, but he did not have time to do it. My husband talked with him, watched his work and was happy with his work, that says a lot. He did a good job but was late. I had to call him to find out where he was. We ended up having to reschedule that day.

Went fine.  He was prompt and arrived each time he said he would, was courteous and hardworking in spite of the heat.  He asked for verification before each step to make sure it was just the way we wanted it.  Cleaned up afterwards.
