We got Mr. Scuddy's name from Angie's List. Mr. Scuddy arrived at the time arranged bringing several fabric sample books. He had even more in his car. We made our choices and agreed on a time for him to pick up the furniture. He gave us a time frame and a written estimate. We ask that he make repairs that were needed plus buy parts if needed. The work was completed in a timely manner and he arrived at the time agreed for delivery. We were delighted. The extra throw pillows that he suggested are perfect and the ottomans had been repaired and restored. Our fabric choice is a patterned fabric and the pattern matches exactly like it should. Mr. Scuddy's experience and expertise shows in his work. We definitely plan to use him again and we feel that we have found a truly trustworthy and reliable master craftsman.

Mr. Scuddy did an excellent job on all upholstered pieces. His attention to detail was appreciated.
He used the armrest covers from the sofa to fashion a new skirt to replace the ripped one as it was impossible to find matching material. The finished product was indiscernible from the undamaged sections.
The armchair was upholstered with great care. He replaced worn webbing and springs and retained the curved shape of the chair. The piping detail and pattern alignment was perfect. The matching ottoman was constructed from scratch and matched the curved shape of the chair giving a chaise lounge look. He also added touches that were not expected such as armrest covers on the chair and button details on the bolster cushions. I would happily recommend him to others.

This man pays attention to detail. Virtually impossible to not like his work. He is gifted and will not stop on a job until it's done right. He takes the worry away. Will definitely use again. OKC is lucky to have him.

I called, left a message on Jimmy's answering machine. He returned my call after the weekend. We set an appointment date and time. He was prompt, came with a halt dozen fabric sample pads and pictures of some of his projects. . We discussed what I wanted and what he could do. I was pleased with the price and time frame that he would be able to complete the job. He was here tonight with the rocker/recliner right when he said he would be and I am so pleased with the little extras he did. He made covers for the arms, back and the foot rest. I highly recommend Jimmy.

Jimmy came promptly out to my home to give me an estimate on several pieces of furniture. I used him to reupholster a recliner. He was very professional and courteous. The time frame he gave me was 5 weeks which fit into my schedule well. He called at the end of the five weeks to deliver the chair just as he had promised. When he brought the chair in it was just beautiful and we were definitely delighted. His repair of the front legs is study and well done.
I have recommended Jimmy to several of my friends and would trust him to do just about any upholstery job.

Chairs look fantastic - I originally contacted Jimmy early in the summer to have my chairs recovered - he was terribly busy during that time but since I was in no hurry I didn't mind waiting - Jimmy finally picked up my chairs on 8/14/12 and returned them on 9/8/12.
They look even better than I had imagined. I will use Jimmy for any future upholstering I need done.

called him to inquire about services and he was readily available to meet and discuss job/pick out fabric. He had the right fabric choice in stock so no need to wait for something to arrive. Job was completed prior to promise date and he did an excellent job! Price seemed higher than expected, but it was very difficult to locate someone providing this service and I am very pleased with the outcome so well worth the money.

Because each seat had different dimensions, two separately made custom cushions had to be made. A wide selection of leather type vinyl material samples were available. The material was ordered and it took about two weeks for the work to be completed. On picking them up, I was absolutely amazed at the results. Special features (air vents and snap holders to keep the cushions from sliding off the chairs and putting stress on the seams) were added and the stitching and manner of construction were just outstanding. The value of the two chairs was probably tripled.

Be advised that Jimmy Scuddy works by appointment and is available to meet in the afternoons and evenings. Luckily he had the material on hand and the quote ($50 per cushion) was in my ball park. The quality of the work was absolutely astounding. Also, instead of doing the job in the promised week, he called me that the work was done three days early. I will definitely use him again.He is a pleasure to work with.
