The experience was a disaster from the beginning. He first gave me an estimate to repair a leak. When he presented a "contract" for the work, it included no guarantee of insurance or assurance that suppliers and sub-contractors would be paid (lien waivers) and actually didn't understand what these were. I drew up a professional contract including these items which he signed. When he was in the middle of the project he stated that he couldn't repair the roof as he had agreed without re-roofing a large area. Following negotiation which was less than pleasant to say the least, he re-roofed the house and finished the interior repairs. While his work is average, he lacks experience, has little business experience and many other time commitments. Beyond that, he has a "know-it-all" attitude which would be only irritating if he actually did have experience. I agreed to use him because his uncle was experienced and honest, however found out that the uncle is no longer associated with him. At every step of the process there was some new problem or attempt to charge me more. I will never again use someone who is not experienced, licensed and bonded.
