Jewelry Sales/Design/Repair
The Penn Square Mall store is quite nice. It has a quiet, elegant decor which works perfectly with the type of jewelry they sell.
The perimeter, walls, and center of the store are filled with glass-topped cases that display the current inventory of designs available. They have little cards and pencils you can use to jot down the design # of items you'd like to purchase or try on. After you're finished looking at all of the lovely items on display, a friendly salesperson will assist you with trying on or purchasing things you've jotted down or seen in their current catalog (they mail these out several times a year if you're on the mailing list).
Sometimes, especially during busy holiday shopping times, the store can be busy and there is a bit of a wait for a salesperson, but they are always friendly and take whatever time you need when it's your turn.
Each item you buy is placed in a little cloth jewelry bag and then into a beautiful James Avery signature box and shopping bag.
