 + -1 moreThey are average at best. The owner, John Terrell, seem competent, but the staff seems untrained. They are good at listing a property and they are good and filing eviction notices promptly. They are not good and keeping track of checks, paperwork or resolving any maintenance issues on their own.
Description of Work: They are disorganized and do not effectively solve problems. I spend much of the time managing the problems myself. Their accounting reports are difficult to follow.

 + -1 moreI found them online just by browsing for property managers, and they seemed like a good company. But when it comes down to the nitty gritty, they don't always return phone calls, repair and maintenance takes weeks to get done, and when things need to be fixed, they overcharge you on labor. (It does not take more than a screwdriver and a ladder to do the majority of the things that would have cost me $100s) I will not be using them again for property management.
Description of Work: Homes4lease managed my home for 2 years. They'd take $50 commission from my $1000 rent that I charge my tenants.Over $1000 they take 10%. Their duties involved basic money transfer from tenant to me and they send out repair and maintenance technicians when the tenant has any issues, which they also charge extra on top of the service fee.
