They always seem like they are minimally staffed.
Description of Work: I go to Home Depot. I had to buy a new wax ring for my toilet the last time I went there.

The associates in the lumber department truly went above and beyond to help. I am new to wood working, and I wanted to build a small toy workbench. The man who helped me at the store looked over my design, offered helpful suggestions, and then since it was a slow afternoon, helped me use the band saw to cut the wood to the exact specs. It was over 20 cuts and he spent extra time to make the cuts precise so I wouldn't have to do any extra work at home. I was impressed by they're service.
Description of Work: Helped proof design for small wood working project and cut wood to size.

Apparently things went better for Home Depot than me. During the design process the sales associates, called designers, fumbled with the computer and were so confused with the products available and the use of the computer that the design took about 10 hours. While we were looking at features of different lines of cabinets the female designer pulled us aside and told us that only the Thomasville line made their cabinets from plywood. All others they sold were particle board. And for just a little we could get plywood by Thomasville. We got particle board. $15,000 worth of it. The designers both were amazed, haha, that the cabinets were not made of plywood, until they found out the plywood replacements would be $28,000. Then another lie saying she told us they were particle board. Two Home Depot managers also thought Thomasville were plywood. But we had paid and were in the weakest position. Never the less we fought, scratched, and clawed until they agreed to take back the cabinets except the special cut ones. We were left with 5 cabinets we coild not use. Hopefully we can sell them. We are down $1800. We did find cabinets at Cabinet Outlet for $11,000. Home Depot forget you and your lying worthless staff. My loyalties will be with Lowes and Cabinet Outlet whose sister store, Builders Warehouse has the largest in Stock selection of tile and shower doors I have ever seen..
Description of Work: Sold Kitchen Cabinets.
