New system. (Few years old) Now no air. Bought my unit from them. Seems their techs can never get it right. Almost every year there is a problem. This was a top of the line unit. Wish I would have gone to another company. One tech says there's a problem to wait till weather warms up for service call to ck it. Few weeks ago another tech came out to check the unit and said all was ok. Now no air. AGAIN!!

Compared to other companies I've used, the price was very high. (Last summer I had the capacitor changed by another company for $75, including parts and labor.) Troy came out the same day I called, and did fast and good work. Next time I need work done I plan to shop around a bit more, but in a jam, I would use them again. Troy was nice and professional.

They were superb.And they came out promptly, took care of the problems, I had to call them back for a different problem and because it was had been the month that I had used them, they did not charge the service call, they fixed it and everything is in 5 cents, so, I was extremely pleased with them. I want them to know that they are prompt, clean, knowledgeable, and they solved my problems quickly and effectively.

The whole process worked out very well. They were very gracious. Their prices were the least expensive of the three estimates I received. My only complaint was they left some dirt and dust on the carpet from the old units. They hauled off the old units for me and they provided a good service. The supervisor even stopped by during the installation to make sure everything was going smoothly.

We called on Friday morning and they ended up finally getting here after 5 that day. Moises was the repairman and although he was here until almost 8, they didn't charge overtime because I had called early in the day. That's a very nice way to do business.
The start capacitor had burned out, also the dual-run capacitor, but Moises fixed them, checked the unit all out, and it worked great.

The new HVAC installed by Hinton Refrigeration Co. meets high energy standards and qualified for a nice rebate from ONG. Everything was installed in one day, the old equipment was hauled off, and the site was cleaned up nicely. However, an error made by the installers required repairs to be made the next day, which were carried out quickly, flawlessly, and without complaint.
After 5 weeks of service, we are very pleased (thrilled!) with the performance of the new equipment and with Hinton as a reputable HVAC dealer.
We had received estimates from several providers, and the prices they quoted varied considerably as well as their recommendations for various costly options. For example, some dealers had suggested that they install one or more air return plenums, and Jeremy Stafford (residential manager from Hinton) considered that we already had an adequate number of plenums but had listed "ducting revisions" on his quote (which I mistakenly thought that they would install another plenum). When I asked Jeremy if they were going to install a new plenum, he said it would not be needed?but would install one anyway because I had asked for it.
In this case, they went above and beyond what was required to responsibly settle a misunderstanding that other companies might have ignored. No extra fees beyond the estimate were charged for the original installation and subsequent minor repairs.
I would definitely use Hinton Refrigeration Co. again in the future.

Hinton came in the lowest of the 3 bids we had for an AC replacement, and we were very impressed both with the estimator, who seemed very knowledgeable, and with the workers. The workers came early, were polite and easy to communicate with, and they worked h****** a VERY hot day to get our new AC and heater installed. We liked that Hinton didn't "upcharge" for the extras - like replacing damaged ductwork, or for bringing our installation up to code - and that the estimator had clearly communicated the installation challenges to the installers before they started, leading to a smooth (if still long) installation.
