Foster Electric

Mr. Foster, came to my house at the appointed time with his assistant. When he came in the house he stated "putting wall switches for the ceiling fans can't be done here" (front room). I was taken back, since he had not even looked in the attic at that time. He stated," I can tell by the roof line that it can't be done". I ask if he'd look at the master bedroom which is at the back of the house and right up against the attic space. he walked back to the room, looked up at the ceiling and said, "nope it can't be done here either". I ask if he might want to at least look in the attic to evaluated it and he said nope, can't be done. His assistant said he'd go into the attic and evaluated it and Mr. Foster said "I said it can't be done, you won't go look". I ask him what I "owed" him for walking in my front door stating the work "couldn't be done" and he said a full hour - 85.00. I said if I'm going to pay for a whole hour, why don't you have a seat and cup of coffee for that hour. I of course was not happy at this point and acknowledged my frustration by this statement, he said "I"m not going to do that" and you have to pay for the whole hour because I drove all the way down here from Guthrie" I'm not sure what this had to do with the price, but I paid it and want to make sure others know about his lack of professionalism and his really nasty attitude. I did contact another Electrician and the work was done in both the front room/ceiling fan and in the Master bedroom/ceiling fans. Very poor experience, this man was rude and wouldn't even evaluate the attic to see if the work could be done. Think very hard before you hire this man/company to do any work in your home. S Barabasz
