Floor Trader

Terrible. The sales people were good, but the installation crew did not know what they were doing. They finally had to tear the floor up and redo it. They were full of excuses, but that's when you could find one that spoke English. It took over 3 months to finish the job, and even in the end it was arguments and more excuses. Floor Trader tried to fix it but it was on them for keeping inept installers.

Went well. Subcontractors tear out and haul off old carpet and bring in the product. Most other stores you had to pick up flooring and tear out your own carpet! Everything went well until had to order transition strips. Was not informed ahead of time the high cost of the transition strips so we were upset that they seemed so expensive! Called the store manager and he made them an affordable price for us to get them (we already had the floors installed and in a bit of a predicament).

On Black Friday, we went to a couple of different flooring places to look at flooring options. We went to Floor Trader and were impressed with the knowledge of the salesman and the product he was selling. That evening the salesman came by and did the measuring. On the Monday after Black Friday, the installers showed up and began taking up the old flooring. They were quick and very professional and as unobtrusive as they could be when laying floor in the living area. They finished in 4 days and kept cleaning up after themselves. The installation even came in less than what was quoted to us.

It went HORRIBLE!!!!!!! The installer they sent out did not do a good job. They ruined our hard wood by leaving hand prints and glue all over it, and hollow spots under it as well., then they flooded a bathroom that had been turned off when they were there. On top of it all, the hard wood from mannington is a horrible product. We cannot walk on it after it is mopped, or it will immediately show footprints. The installer is supposed to pay another installer to fix his issues, however, 5 months later, it is STILL not done. Please don't EVER do business with this company as it is set up to reduce the liability of poor installations from the company.

Everything Mr. Lowe said he was going to do, he did. The order was absolutely correct. He sent the installer to do the measuring and he was fabulous. The installer's name was Nick. Between the two of them, it was completely painless and I am a very satisfied customer.

They were fairly competitive in their price, and they did a nice job with the installation. I would say that the only thing I didn't like really was that they actually didn't vacuum afterwards, so there were little pieces of the carpet all over our floor. I think I would use them again in the future.
