Clayton came out and did an excellent job of troubleshooting electrical issues in my house due to illegal wiring by previous owners. I am not sure another electrician would have stayed during that time to get to the root of the problem and fix it but he did, and I am so glad we went with him!

It went perfect.  He and his assistant were wonderful and stayed until it got done (past 5).  I couldn't have asked for more from them.

Five Star Electric is aptly named. Quick response, friendly but efficient, professional, and reasonably priced.

I took three estimates. The first took forever just to respond and schedule, would not even listen to my concerns about underground placement, and left me feeling like they could care less. The second priced out more than double over the other two estimates for the job, and left me feeling intimidated about possibly replacing practically every bit of electrical in my house. Then I texted out to several electricians on Angie's. List. Five Star Electric was the first to respond.

Five Star Electric cared about the job and backed it up with great work. Clayton Coker went above and beyond and noticed things I needed that I never even thought about - like since I'm disabled, adding a switch next to the house so I wouldn't have to walk all the way across the yard to turn off my pool pump. He checked for my approval every step along the way, And he didn't mind all of my questions. (On a side note: I mentioned that I had trouble finding someone to come out and backfill after the pool install. He offered his skills in that area and did a great work with that job too. He even helped move things in the yard just to help me out as he saw my need.) But back to the electrical . . .

I will definitely trust Five Star Electric with all of my electric jobs in the future. I would say - Clayton Coker has a company you can trust. Professionalism and work effort above par! It's like finding that great five star hotel where you know you can recommend with confidence that others will be able to relax and enjoy the same great service that you experienced - I recommend Five Star Electric with an A+.

Clayton did an excellent job!  Arrived at the appointed time, determined the best solution for the installation and got right to work.  He completed the installation in a very short time and cleaned up the work area.  I couldn't be more pleased with the results and will definitely be calling on him again for future projects!

Great. we found out about his company through Angies List Big Deal of the Day. His services were discounted significantly. He was cheaper than all of the other quotes we had been given. He and his helper were polite and professional. They cleaned up after themselves. They had some delays getting to the job site the first day however they called and stayed in touch with me through the delays. He was punctual with returning calls and arriving for the estimate. We ended up adding a few other extra tasks on the 2nd day that had not been part of the original quote. He took care of us immediately and stayed within our budget. We really appreciated how quick he was to get us scheduled. I'll definitely call for any future repairs.

He called to let me know he was on his way and arrived timely. Put the new ceiling fans together and replaced the old ones. I was surprised when told the old fans had been installed with drywall screws, which was not only improper but potentially dangerous. He took the old fans out to the garage for me and cleaned up. I was very impressed with his professionalism and will use this business again.

Our old, unsafe FPE panel box was located in a closet, which is a code violation.  Clayton re-designed the system, locating a new GE panel box outside.  As a plus, this also allowed the removal of a separate, unsafe outdoor FPE panel box, properly tying all electrical distribution in the home to the new panel box.
The workmanship was excellent, I couldn't be more pleased.  The system looks great and works as good as it looks.  Most importantly, I can now sleep soundly tonight, as I know my house is no longer in danger of fire from a poorly designed panel box.  For further information on the dangers of FPE panel boxes and circuit breakers, just do a Google search. 
Clayton was courteous, professional, and utterly competent.  He went out of his way to install the exact equipment I requested.  I would highly recommend Five Star Electric to anyone needing electrical work.  I will absolutely call on Five Star again for my next electrical project. 

Clayton Coker, was prompted and knew our small city's codes. He does everything you need like pulling permits. Very nice company to do business with.
