Phil sold us our very first home and he just helped us greatly through both selling that home and buying another. Ontop of all that he's a good person and fun to do business with. He is definitely someone you want as a realtor.
"Thank you!"
One of the greatest traits we have found in Phil is his honesty and integrity. Many real estate agents may try to 'sell' you a property for the money and can care less if you are unhappy once they have their commission. Phil is the exact opposite! He wants to build relationships with his clients that last far beyond the sale and he will be honest with you if he feels that the house is a bad fit or if there are problems he sees. On one occasion, my wife and I were in love with a house he showed us and although he would have made more profit off the house than the one we finally bought, he pulled his flashlight out and we watched in horror as it rolled down the floor in the living room, proving that the house had a poor foundation. We know we can count on him to show us the things that we will need to repair to make things enjoyable and will find someone to perform the work if we ask him to.
Once the sale is over, Phil will constantly check in and make sure that you are enjoying your property. There have been many times when I have emailed him out of the blue to ask how to fix a certain thing or even how to build a business and he always responds with helpful insight and contacts if he has them. By now we have watched his two children grow up and he has watched ours grow. We treat him like a member of the family and feel like he does the same to us.
