Made appointment eight days before and Fireplace Specialist showed up on-time and ready to work.  Showed problem and they proceeded to re-wire control box for the wall switch to provide electric power to the ignitior.  Took less than 10 minutes to re-wire as they knew what they were doing.  Spread tarp on fireplace hearth to prevent any dirt from getting on the tile.  Provided protection and free call back if any problem occurs the rest of this winter.  :-)   Great service and prompt repair... 

These guys were great! They were on time, very helpful and were able to fix a nagging problem we have had with our fireplace for the past 3 years. I would highly recommend Fireplace Specialist. These guys came in and saved me. My wife is very happy now.

The last time I used them it was for annual cleaning and inspection only. The first time it was for major repair work.
I trust them absolutely. In 2012 they totally had to repair our chimney and replace the 8" pipe from the downstairs fireplace that went up through second floor. The group I had used previously (which had been great at one time) left my chimney very undone and unsafe when trying to replace pipe. The Fireplace Specialists were recommended to me. They came immediately and were so thorough and professional. They repaired the fireplace. It has been great since. I would highly recommend them.

Contacted this company on 2/6/2014 as the gas log FP pilot light did not stay on to light the FP. Mr. Daniel returned our call within a very short time to inquire on the problem. He showed up on time as promised and checked the FP, diagnosed the problem, checked the line, cleaned jets, checked blower and reset the logs, etc. extremely professional, polite, and very impressed by the quick response and service on this very cold day. Highly recommend Mr. Daniel and will use them again.

It went great! Two gentlemen arrived 30 minutes prior to when they thought they would be at my house. They were polite and got right to work. They discovered a part needed to be replaced so they took care of that. They even tore the complete gas log system down, cleaned and tested it and put it all back together. They told me I was covered for this season unless another part was needed which I would be charged for. We discussed annual maintenance and they advised what time of year to schedule with them. The only negative was the professionalism. A third man showed up during the time they were here. He walked right in my front door without ringing or knocking. He never introduced himself. I assumed he was here to help them but didn't know for sure. I felt he should have said something to me. The cost was very reasonable.
