I have a 35-year-old, obscure brand, bar faucet that needed a new valve stem. Except for the valve stem, the faucet is in great condition. A new faucet comparable to the old one would have cost well over $100. After trying several local plumbing supply stores with no luck, I turned to the internet and found Faucet Parts Plus. Within a few clicks, I had located the exact part for my faucet for $6.99. With shipping, the total cost was $12.30. It arrived within 2 business days and my husband installed it in about 10 minutes. Now the old faucet looks great and works great, too. Next time I need an odd faucet part, I'll check this site first. Note: We did have to use plumber's tape around the threads to get a good seal. My husband knew this, but I would have been clueless, otherwise. I love the internet, especially when you can find a low cost solution to a pesky problem, and the vendor provides great service.
