"Dear Customer, We regret to hear that you are unhappy with our company. On Sunday, July 8, 2012, we performed an afterhours call on your property. It was concluded that your unit needed a new condenser fan motor and capacitor. The reason for the above average pricetag on this ticket was because the call was performed afterhours, on a Sunday. Normally, a service call would have been $89.00, while the fan motor and capacitor would have been $551.00. Because it was a Sunday, the service call was $130.00, and the fan motor and capacitor were $767.00. We provide emegency service 24/7 so that our customers have the option of getting a service technician to their property, regardless of the time and day. While customers always have the option to wait until business hours, saving themselves the afterhour charges, customers are able to get the equipment fixed afterhours and not endure uncomfortable or emergency situations on weekends, nights, and holidays. Afterhours charges are applied during these times because technicians are working on overtime, parts are not as readily available as vendors are closed, and demand for service is heightened.
