  IN 2013 I CONTRACTED WITH CONSOLIDATED BUILDERS SUPPLY (CBS), IN OKLAHOMA CITY, TO FURNISH ALL OF THE WINDOWS AND DOORS FOR MY NEW HOME. I WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD TAKE ABOUT 6 TO 8 WEEKS FOR DELIVERY, WHICH WAS FINE WITH ME THE CONSTRUCTION WAS JUST GETTING STARTED. I MADE A DOWN PAYMENT OF $31,291.00 TO GET THE ORDER STARTED. TWO DAYS AFTER WE PLACED THE ORDER MY WIFE WANTED TO CHANGE ONE OF THE WINDOWS. SHE WAS TOLD BY THE SALESMAN TRAVIS BAKER THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL $350.00 TO CHANGE THE ORDER. I DON'T THINK THIS WAS FAIR BECAUSE ALL IT WOULD HAVE TAKEN WAS A FEW KEY STROKES ON THEIR COMPUTER TO CHANGE THE ORDER. TRAVIS TURNED INTO A REAL JERK AFTER WE PAID HIM THE NONREFUNDABLE DOWN PAYMENT.
  INSTALLATION WENT WELL, BUT WE NEVER GOT THE KEYS TO TWO OF THE DOORS. I HAD TO HIRE A TECHNICIAN FROM ANOTHER COMPANY TO COME OUT AND ADJUST TWO OF THE DOORS SO THEY WOULD CLOSE PROPERLY.
   AFTER ALL OF THE WINDOWS WERE INSTALLED I NOTICED THAT SOME FLASHING WAS MISSING ON THE OUT SIDE OF THREE WINDOWS IN THE GARAGE. I TOLD THE BUILDER ABOUT THIS AND IN A FEW DAYS TO A WEEK LATER I  NOTICED THAT THE FLASHING HAD BEEN INSTALLED.
  WHEN THE HOUSE WAS ALMOST FINISHED THE BUILDER QUIT(STORY FOR ANOTHER TIME) AND THEN ABOUT TWO WEEKS LATER I RECEIVED AN INVOICE FOR APPROX. $200.00 FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE FLASHING THAT THEY HAD MISSED WHEN THEY ORIGINALLY INSTALLED THE WINDOWS.I TALKED TO TRAVIS ABOUT THIS AND I  WAS TOLD THAT IF I DIDN'T PAY THE INVOICE  I WOULD NOT GET THE SCREENS THAT GOES WITH THE WINDOWS. I REFUSE TO PAY FOR SOMETHING THAT I HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR.
  I STILL DON'T HAVE MY SCREENS.
  I WOULD LIKE CBS AND TRAVIS TO DO THE RIGHT THING AND LET ME HAVE MY SCREENS.

On day of installation (over 10 weeks later) 2 of the 3 doors were not what I ordered.  The screen door was wrong size for french door and had to be reordered.  It was discovered that the french door was missing a center post to seal gap between screen and door facing.  A new post had to be ordered.  New post arrives, installer cut new post too SHORT and another new post must be ordered.  The company employee / installer has had to come out 5 times  with a new screen door, each time door was the wrong size.  Installer also need to borrow tools to install screen door.  We are still waiting for the correct size screen door.Consolidated Builders Supply did refund money on other 2 doors and were apologetic on missed communications and installation   However, I WOULD NOT USE CONSOLIDATED BUILDERS SUPPLY AGAIN.
AS of today July 3, 2014 we are still waiting on screen had to be reordered this will make SIXTH time.

The product was excellent, and the install was great. The price was good. The windows seem to be of excellent quality. The install people were really good. It went about as well as one could expect. With regard to responsiveness, they weren't terrible, but we had a little communication problem at one point.

There was a fellow at the neighbor's house who's giving an estimate for windows and doors for their house that had been blown up by the tornado, I walked over and asked him if he could give me an estimate, and he said he'd be glad to. He's very professional. They're very friendly, from the salesman to the people in the store to the guys who came out and installed the windows and door. I like the fact that Mike was very knowledgeable, always there at the house and whenever I called any time in between the time we ordered the windows and they got built and delivered, he answered the phone promptly. He's very friendly and helpful, and the same thing's true whenever I call the office; they're very helpful. The fellows who installed the windows were congenial, very pleasant to both myself and my wife, and did a very good job. I'm very pleased with the result.

The workers that came to put the windows in did a horrible job; one of their guys measured them wrong; it was just horrible. Then, they came back to put doors in and did a horrible job again. So, that's two times; we won't use them again. They have TV commercials here in Tulsa and they know we are unhappy. The windows themselves are great; the problem is the workers that come out to put them in. They are horrible and do a horrible job. My advice is to not use their workers; I think this company contracts workers out. My husband works out of state so when the workers were here I was telling them things I wanted done and they totally ignored me and did not want to do what I asked them to do. They took advantage of me because I was the woman of the house and I did not know anything, but I did; I just did not say very much because it was not worth getting in an argument with them. The workers did not do the job right. I had to have another guy come out to fix my doors and put them in right. The workers did not put caulking in either one of my doors.

The price beats everybody elses significantly and the quality was very good. The installer was very experienced and was a real pleasure to work with.

I recommend Consolidated Builders Supply to any one. I buy all my windows through them. The time and price they quoted me was really close to what I paid. They did an excellent job.
