CLARK FENCE CO

They started building the fence 8 feet off from where it was supposed to be. The corners do not line up, there is a 2 foot height differential. The holes do not line up, causing the fence to bulge. My biggest complaint is that they did not inspect the work, and they have not responded to my attempts to contact them. It was sloppy work with no follow up. This is my opinion.

Contacted Clark Fence in mid May and met with salesman approximately 5 days later. I then made a 1/2 down payment and was told my fence would be installed the first week of June. During the first week of August (this is not a typo) I contacted the salesman and asked what was the delay and why had no one called me?? His response was "they had been busy" and I responded that that was no excuse for not notifying me of the status  regarding my fence. I then said all I wanted at this point was a date when it would be installed. The salesman called me back and promised it would be installed the following Monday--it wasn't. I called him Monday night and he acted surprise, but promised he would call me in the morning. The next morning he called and promised it would be done the following day, at 5pm a crew showed up and set the posts. I was told the posts would have to set for 48 hours before the fence could be finished. That evening I had to go and buy a temporary fence to enclose my backyard to keep my dogs from running out. Saturday when the crew came they notified me the posts were set to shallow and they would have to be redone--the crew left w/o doing a thing. When I called the salesman Monday morning I I told him I had had it and that I was planning on going out of town in 4 days and the job had to be completed- it was not! Finally after 90 days of waiting the fence was done!! i WOULD NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CLARK FENCE IF THEY WERE THE ONLY FENCE COMPANY IN OKC

It was great. They put up my original place. The wind blew down the gate and they came out and put it up in a couple of days and it looks great.

Worst Contractor Experience Ever!!!!

Called for estimate. Took a few days for salesperson to get in touch with me. Showed up as promised. Courtious and friendly. Estimate out of my budget so I did not use there services.

I expect since the gate is less than 3 months old, that the gate would not snap into two pieces. I paid over $6,000.00 for the fence. I paid timely and in full, I would expect better service. I did not ask them to replace the gate, my request was to come out to repair the gate. I called my sales rep, Gary, several times requesting that he come out to repair the fence. Gary called me back twice, promising both times to come out the next day. He never came out and he never called to explain why. I called the company and left a message for his boss, Jason, to call, but he hasn't returned my call.

I liked that Clark Fence did quality work for me. I also liked that they cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them for putting up fences.

Clark Fence dug into our sprinkler system even though it was marked clearly. We had to then dish out more money to have that fixed. They signed a contract to start in 30 days and didn't start by then. The materials they used was excellent.
