I need to replace an old glass shower door in a rental property I own.  I contacted Jan Apple at Central Glass & Mirror after reading several of their reviews.  Jan quoted me a price that significantly less than the two other quotes I received.  I gave them a deposit for half and in less than two weeks they installed the new door.  The installer was very professional, quick and cleaned up after the installation.  I will definitely use them in the future for some of my other properties.

They came in and removed the old door and installed the new one in about an hour and a half.  The installer was very professional and new what he was doing.  We just love our new shower door.  It made a big difference in the look of our shower.

They completed the task on time and on budget at a time when it was difficult to get a glass repair in Oklahoma City because of a series of hailstorms. I was very please with that work.

Job was done, but absurdly expensive.
Service guy was nice, but clumsy -- knocked some stuff over and really really needed  a shower.

Went very well.  Order online the measurements I needed.   Received call when ready.  Very timely.  No problem with the measurements I provided.

Quoting process was straightforward.  They provided a budgetary quote on my measurements.  
'Updated quote and ordered material when their technician came to measure.  'Proposed and provided a few options for various low-E glass technologies.
'Product came in on time.  They worked around my travel schedule, and installed the first available day.
Two technicians were professional, and answered my questions.  They also fixed an issue with a previous job that I don't hink they were aware of, but quickly reacted, improvised with material on the truck, and satisfied us.

Although Central Glass was backed up when I called and couldn't replace my window for a few months, they were very "up front" about it and kept in contact with me and let me know as soon as they had availability to perform an estimate. After the estimate, they let me pay for the glass over the phone so it could be ordered quicker. When the glass came in, they called and scheduled an install for the next day. The installer arrived at exactly the earliest of the three hour window the scheduler provided. There had been a defect at the glass manufacturer and my window was 1/8" off. However, the installer spent quite a bit of time sanding the window down until it fit perfectly so I wouldn't have to wait for another window to be ordered.
I was very pleased with the service from this company.

Excellent.  They came out measured - arrived at the time they said they'd be there.  Gave me an estimated cost and estimated install date.  They called and had window early.  They were willing to come install without me missing work and they billed my credit card.  The estimate was the same cost as the bill.  they cleaned everything up.  Excellent service.

We had several windows failing, with fog/condensation between the panes.  A couple of other companies told me that we needed to replace the entire window (glass + frame), at several thousand dollars for the total job.  We contacted a home builder we knew, and they said that typically all that needs to be done is to have the glass popped out as a single unit, and a new unit of double pane glass put in, with seal applied afterwards.  They recommended Central Glass.  Due to a recent hail storm nearby, they took about a month or so to get out, assessed the situation, confirmed that the window frames were fine, but the seal between the two panes was failed.  They affirmed that the situation could be remedied without replacing the entire frame.  Work was done about 2 weeks later, as the windows were custom made.  They came out, did the work in about 90 minutes, cleaned up, and everything looks great.

It went very well.  I has an old home and it turned out the window wasn't exactly square.  The installer took the window back out to the truck, did some trimming on the glass so it would fint, brought it back in and installed it.  He even used calk around the window that matched the paint.  It looks great.

I got five estimates.  Central Glass was the best price.  I selected them and they came out and replaced my broken glass.  It took 30 minutes.  They did a great job.  I've been pleased with the experience. 

After 2 prior companies (that are in the framing business too) declared that the frames needed replaced too (at about 6x the cost I spent with Central Glass), an independent contractor I was referred to pointed out to me that the frames were fine, but all that was needed was to pop out the glass units & have them replaced. He suggested to call Central Glass. The job took them all of 90 minutes to complete. We had a really bad hail storm 6 months ago across town, so it took them months to get to our house, but they did a great job, cleaned up after themselves well, and didn't do unnecessary work.

I ended up submitting my order via e-mail and the lady who took my order was very friendly and responsive. When we showed up to pick up the glass, we were handed the glass with no padding or cover of any kind and it was absolutely filthy (including our name written on the glass in PERMANENT, not dry/wet-erase, marker). We ended up having to put the piece of glass in the back seat of my truck and padded it with my husband's sweatshirt. The guy who brought the glass out told us to "just keep a hand on it." I'm in a back brace...I had surgery 2 months ago. Needless to say I wasn't sitting twisted in the truck. Luckily the glass made it to our house in one piece. I understand Central Glass may work largely with contractors but they need to keep the private consumer in mind. They should know that we aren't going to show up with a truck with a glass rack. The customer service we received from the lady who took our order was great and she was very professional. But it was overshadowed by their other employee clearly not caring about the quality of the service he provided. Not providing even simple padding for such a large piece of glass is just irresponsible and lazy. I don't think I would recommend this place to my friends =/
