I highly recommend them. Basically they are good to work with as far as they don't try to sell you more than what you need and the price that is there is the price you get and you can negotiate. I find that their cars are exceptional in quality for the money. I have recommended them many people. It is a great place to buy a car. I would not recommend their service center which is whole different operation but the car sales aspect is great. They know what they are talking about, they are very upfront about everything, and you don't have hidden problems with the car when you get it. It is close to a honest used car dealership is what I think exists.

I have three cars and we take all of them to Car Max Auto Superstore. Their service department is top notch. They put in a radiator. The hose broke afterwards and they fixed the radiator for free.

I saw a car that I liked on line and set up a test drive for that very afternoon. Everything was low pressure. Their "no haggle" prices are about $2,000 less than most dealerships. No gimmicks. No tricks. No hidden charges. They're up front about everything. I also like the five day return policy. That gives you plenty of time to get to know the vehicle and have it checked out by an independent mechanic if you wish. I would recommend CARMAX to anyone who wants a late model used car, and is willing to spend at least $10,000. This is NOT a junk car lot. They obviously don't sell anything that isn't what used to be called a "cream puff". Also, the sales people get a straight commission per vehicle. So there's no incentive for them to try to talk you into a more expensive car. Whether they sell you a Lexus or a Toyota, it's the same commission. If you hate the usual high pressure games of the typical car dealer, then this is the place to look for that "new" used car.
