They began work in a timely fashion.  Weather had prevented them from beginning on the proposed start date.  However, as soon as weather permitted, they began work.  The framework was completed very quickly, about a day.  The concrete was poured the next day.  The slope of the lot resulted in the need for a ramp to be added from the agregate driveway to the concrete slab for the garage.
The slab for the concrete came out nice, however, no brick ledge was included in the pouring of the concrete even though it had been discussed multiple times that the exterior would be brick.
The extension of the driveway was poured as discussed.  However, the rock coverage for the agregate driveway is not completely adequate.  There are some bare spots.
The main issue is the ramp from the driveway to the garage slab.  The run is too short and a standard car can easily bottom out.  Also, the original attempt at making it match the driveway (agregate) was a total failure.  Most of the rocks came off.  They then topped it with a thinner layer of concrete and added the rock.  The rocks stayed, but the craftmanship is terrible. 
Finally, the drawing provided for the garage included 2 separate garage doors instead of one, as discussed.

Overall, we are not satified with the work provided by this contractor.  We will not use them again and discourage others from doing so if asked.

The entire process went very well. Chad came out to give us an estimate. The estimate was good but, we were having trouble choosing which tile to use and the design of the new shower. Jessica, his design consultant/wife, came to the home and helped us chose tile and design. They then demolished the old shower. They redid the pan and drain and painted something on the drywall to keep out mositure. They then tiled the new shower. The new shower has a tile border, recessed shelving and a bench. We also added a hand held shower head as well as the fixed shower. We are so happy with the entire project. Chad as his crew were wonderful to work with. They were always curteous and punctual. They kept us informed every step of the way. The completed project looks amazing. The entire family is now fighting over the master shower. I would definetly recommed Caldwell Construction and plan to use him for future projects.
