Bo Ballard Moving Services

We recently made an in-town move (3,450 sqft home). Mr. Ballard gave us an estimate & said he estimated it high which was ok. We had most EVERYTHING boxed so it would help make things easier. He sent a 4-man crew. He charged $600 more because it took longer than he thought! the crew was professional & courteous and seemed to work hard so we paid the extra $600 (I wasn't happy about it because he assured us he estimated the move cost on the high side!). When moving our refrigerator they put dings into the brushed stainless steel doors & also scratched both doors. They also damaged the compressor! Ballard's estimate says "Bo Ballard Moving Services is insured to handle your belongings, up to 1,000,000 per occurrence" so I felt like we would be safely covered. Bo Ballard also told my wife before the move "Don't worry! We will cover you on everything except large Televisions!" so we both felt like we had a good deal & would be covered. When I made the refrigerator issue known to him he started back-peddling then said he'd cover the damage to the doors but not the compressor! At this point he won't answer my calls, return messages or respond to emails! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!! I'm stuck with a $600 bill for damage to the compressor & about $400 for the doors!
