Greg with Big Sky Roofing was amazing! We had a water spot appear on the ceiling in the master bedroom in May during all the rain. He was the most responsive roofer that we contacted and was the first one to come out to check it out. Great communication - Greg kept us informed and was very responsive while we waited for a dry day. We lucked out that we only had a chipped shingle that he was able to quickly diagnose and repair while up there. We'd definitely recommend Greg and Big Sky Roofing for anyone looking for a reliable roofer and would hire him again!

Big Sky Roofing did a fantastic job, both on the original project and later to repair the damage. They were prompt and responsive and above all did a great job. But more than that Chad let me know that he was seeing some indications that I might be experiencing foundation problems. Sure enough, he was right! No one wants foundation problems of course, but I really appreciated getting this information early, before I had any interior indicators. High quality work, responsiveness, and a real sense of responsibility towards their clients make Big Sky an excellent choice. I highly recommend them!

I called Greg at Big Sky Roofing for a small leak in a TPO roof that has had a long history of leaking which only came apparent after the ceiling caved in. Greg came out the next day at the predetermined time looked around a bit and called in one of his employees to help determine the problem area. After looking inside and out the two of them are on their knees cleaning and sealing the suspected leaking seams. This whole scenario went way beyond my expectations of how calling a roofing company might go. Not only were they on time for the scheduled appointment, Greg and Jose jumped into action immediately attacking the suspected problem areas. Weather this solves my leaking roof issues or not, I cannot say enough how I appreciate their dedication and promptness.

Easy. Greg was very efficient and spent a good amount of time with the insurance adjuster. He was able to point out areas that should be included in the claim that were originally not accounted for.

I had a sagging roof over the garage. Big Sky installed "stiff-back across ceiling joists to spread load" and "installed 2 braces scab over framing joints in valley rafter". Not long after the installation, a structural engineer on an unrelated issue saw the work and commented that it lacked the support of a load bearing wall underneath. I contacted Big Sky and they couldn't have been nicer. They sent out their own engineer to re-evaluate, agreed, and made the adjustments at no additional cost to me, even though it was more labor and resource intensive than their first work estimate. The work is well done and looks to be holding up very well. Big Sky is extremely customer oriented.

We used Big Sky in the past and were very satisfied with our experience. Our second experience did not go as well. We had to have the gentleman out twice for an estimate since he did not get it all the first time, the roofing crew threw trash and debris into my garden, and the gutters took over a month to be replaced. The gutter crew also upended several flowers in my garden. Communication was very poor. We were not told there would be a delay with the gutters at first, then we were given several different reasons for the delay. I did call and speak with the owner to express my concerns. It still took over a week for the gutters to be replaced and there was not a follow up concerning the other concerns. I am very disappointed that their business practices seems to have changed so much. We will not use them in the future.

Excellent job. The company was on the job they had bid promptly on the day agreed to, onsite managers were very courteous and there were with plenty of experienced installers to do the job in 2 days. Cleanup was complete. This is the second roof job done for me by Big Sky Roofing.

Excellent service, responsiveness and workmanship. Got my estimate the same day I inquired. Follow-up call within a few days. Honored Angie's List coupon AFTER providing estimate. It was a couple of months before I actually had the work done, but they stuck with their original estimate. Workmen arrived on time and finished the job in a day. Good cleanup. I like that this company uses its own employees rather than subs for their roofing jobs. I called 3 or 4 other companies, all highly rated, and got responses from only 2 ... Big Sky and one other. Would use them again for other projects and highly recommend. I worked with Jason ... super nice, responsive, helpful.

We weren't as pleased with that. They got back with us pretty quick but then they didn't get out here for a long time. They finally got out here and started one day and then they had to quit because it was too windy. And then, they got too late in the year then and too cold, and the work that they did, it needed a little repair work done on the wood on some of our molding and step on the house and they didn't do that. They just painted over what was there and so we didn't bother to call them back this spring to get them to come out and finish. We were just probably going to call somebody else.

They were very reasonable and even matched it to the color of my roof. The work was good in all respects. They showed up on time and did exactly what they said they will do. They were prompt and efficient.

In 2008 they did a total roof replacement. Around 2012 I found an area between my chimney and the patio cover that was leaking when it rained. The big deal was; they came out, looked at it and they took care of it. So I am happy with what they did. They backed up their work even though it was 4 years. I think they had a 4 year warranty. They did my roofing and it was leaking. They had to go up there and review the caulking that they did around the patio cover to get it fixed. It hasn’t leaked since. I would definitely use them again. When they saw that they had done the roof, they even refunded the money. So that was an excellent customer service move from their part.

They were really good to work with. The woman on the phone was kind of rude when I wanted to get something scheduled. The roofer was prompt and he did a good job on the repairs. He did not try to sell me unnecessary services and he informed me that there was not any damage to the roof that the insurance company would not provide. I liked his honesty.

We had Big Sky replace our shake shingle roof with a new composite HD shingles. This required a tear off and complete re-decking of the roof. Big Sky also rebuilt our chimney which had been the victim of rot over the years. The work was very well done and the crew was very professional. The cleanup was also excellent. Jason Casteel was very helpful and accessible during the process. He even suggested a color of shingle that we had not previously thought of, which is what we ended up going with. I highly recommend Big Sky both for the quality of work but also over professionalism and pricing which was extremely competitive with other RFP's we sought before deciding in Big Sky.
