The spring broke on a Thursday morning, while my wife was opening the door. I called Metro door Thursday night and he came out on Saturday to replace, even though it was snowing. Charged me at the regular rate, because he was completely booked on Friday. Excellent job and the door is far quieter now than ever before.

Anyone who expects a sizeable job to be done in a few days is in for a disappointment.  And if a contractor told me it could be done that quickly I would look elsewhere.  Deciding on a contractor seems to be the most difficult part of a renovation and we relied heavily, though not exclusively, on Angie's List.  I contacted Jana Ward in April and began the ardous task of deciding what to do.  My inclination was to exlarge the shower, but after talking several times with Jana and numerous times with my wife it became apparent my ideas were much too small.  We had the contract ready to roll in early summer, but postponed the start until we returned from vacation in late July.  We spent qutie some time searching for the right tile, finally settling on a slate looking porcelin in different sizes.  Jana was invaluable in selecting the vanities and the granite countertops.  The vanities are custom made and deciding the proper mix of drawers, doors, and location of the same took some thought.  Jana came through with a black velvet granite countertop that is a great substitute for soapstone and much less espensive.  Throw in some square undermount sinks and the proper stain and finish on the vanities and the choices were made.  Next we had to get on the production schedule which took several weeks.  Once underway we only had one unanticipated problem: the new toliet kept leaking sewer gas.  The plumbers reset it several times before we finally gave up and replaced it with yet another new one.  Problem solved.  Logistics on the job flowed smoothly thanks to the construction supervisor, Mary, who seemed to ve available morning, noon, and night to answer questions and to put the right material and workers together on site at the right time.  Construction of the vanities took a little longer than expected  and there were a few minor pricing glitches in the contract, but looking at the scope of the job and the quality of the workmanship we are really appreciative that Jana Ward and Clear Choice did our renovation.  When we have another renovation we hope she will be there to do it.

The installation process was a night- mare to say the least!  The installer acted like he didn't know where to begin said he didn't have the proper tools to install the unit (didn't instill much confidence)--called for more help.  Mutilated the wall when he removed the old unit-(-I had to repair the  hole left in the wall myself). Was very disappointed with the service representation.
I  am however very happy with the product.

Mike Fox was very easy to work with. We began the reno while my family was still living in Nebraska. Communication was excellent! We are super pleased with the finished product. He has exceptional work ethic and made sure the work was done to MY expectations. Fox First Construction will be here on Wednesday to give us an estimate on our upstairs renovation. We look forward to working with him again!

I've been going to Traps Tire & Auto Center for years. They do good work and they're honest. 

I had a great experience  with the company professional cleaning owner DONNA and OLVI  delivered what they promised.

To begin with they missed the first appointment. Since I live in NJ and commute to Manhattan using public transportation it costs me a vacation day. The office manage was apologetic and rescheduled for a reduced price but a vacation day is much more valuable to me







The technician arrived promptly and took 2 samples on the soil on either end of the tank. One of the two tested positive on the field screen and he bottled it to be sent to the lab. He discarded the other. After speaking to my daughter who is an environmental engineer she though he should have taken 4 samples at the corners. However since the subsequent laboratory test confirmed the field test it wasn't an issue.







This company was not on my insurers list for tank removal or remediation but I was given a brochure for  "Flat-rate" Tank Removal & soil clean up". I am including this because the statement of "no extra costs" is misleading and "call to see if you qualify" reveals that they cannot guarantee the flat rate until after your tank is pulled and further soil tests are done. The gentleman on the phone did some quick math and made it sound like it would only cost a few hundred to thousand dollars to ignore the insurance and be able to switch to gas. Firstly he overstated the insurance deductible and secondly there was no guarantee that the remediation would cost the "flat fee". Had I used this service my insurance would have been voided.







I can say that the test did cause me to be aware of the problem and after my tank was pulled there was contamination. I will write a review on the company that pulled the tank after they complete the remediation process. (I did go with the insurance)

The whole process went very smoothly.  I was particularly impressed with how careful the movers were with the furniture and not scratching either the furniture or the walls.  I found them to be very professional.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out fine and as expected. I didn't compare them to anybody else. If their price was good, I would use them again.

It began with my vision of what I wanted and then the estimate. I placed my trust in this company and prayed everything would turn out great due to the cost of this project. I went I to this project only wanting to spend 25K but decided to add a few things to add to the landscape and overall appearance. It was completed in a timely manner and every time I called or texted Holly, I received a response. Now everything did not go perfectly but I was satisfied in the end. The few bumps during the project were fixed and everyone learned from the experience of mishaps. But this was a huge project and things do happen. It was major and included permits, gas lines being installed and since they had to dig it included phone, cable and electricity people to come out to make sure everything was up to code. Overall I give this company an A- Great job!

I used Firestone before and always hated them, but this particular shop is excellent. We liked them so well we started having more major things done there. We've been going to them since they opened and our experience has just been positive every single time that we've been there. If we felt like there was something that was not done correctly they have resolved our complaints immediately. We feel like they do an honest job. We don't feel like we're getting gouged and I know this because they will often tell us that we don't really need a particular service right now. We feel like they're honest and every time they've worked on a car they either gotten it right or they make sure that it was correct. Their customer service is excellent and they've worked with us as far as getting our cars repaired as quickly as they can. We take our cars there, when our kids were living here we took their cars, and we take my mother-in-law's car. We just feel like they do an excellent job. We started off with very small repairs because we were weary of Firestone, but it was close by. I've been to other Firestone's where I felt like they just totally gouged us and we would always get second opinion, but these people have always been very fair. They want to keep your business and so they really strive to do that. It seems like they are going for repeat business, so they try to treat you right. I always recommend them to people. We've had minor to major things done to them and we've never been unhappy.

Original estimate was for 258, but turned out that they didn't include tile floor and I ended up paying an additional $60 to get this done

They're very conscientious, they are all top of the line, especially they're equipment..

I asked Gary to come out and help me hang a door I had purchased a long time ago but never got around to hanging. When he arrived he was a very pleasant person to be with and beyond knowledgeable. I soon found out that the door I had purchased would not fit nor be acceptable as an outside door. However, he had many ideas and suggestions. I continued to ask him to help me with the other door projects in the house for 2 1/2 hours. He did excellent work cheerfully, quickly and with amazing knowledge and skills. I would use his services again in a heartbeat and can say without reservation that he is worthy of hire. Thanks so much Gary!
