pipes on air conditioner froze up. they came out and said nothing was wrong with the unit but I could use a pound of freon and that should help, and possibly get duct cleaning.(which they do not do). The next day I came home from work, the house was 84 degrees, but the pipes were not frozen and they could't get back out till late the next day. When they came back the diagnosis was too much freon, it was drained out and a fuse was replaced. By Friday I had contacted another company who came out checked and cleaned my unit and the pipes no longer freeze and the house actually cools now. This company does a free service call which is good because I'm only out the cost of the freon which was actually released into the air or on the ground around my unit.
