After we moved into our home, we started to notice loose carpet pile: both around the house and having to empty our vacuum two to three times during one vacuuming. Calling the store our salesman came to our home and examined our problem. He felt we had bad carpet and would contact the factory Mohawk carpet co. After more than a month a person representing himself as a carpet inspector showed up at our home. I showed him the problem and he took samples of the loose pile. I asked him for a business card and he informed me he did not have any. ??? He reported to the carpet factory that our 2 month old puppy had pulled out the carpet. Yet months before we got the dog we had carpet pile falling out. I contacted the national associations of carpet and flooring inspectors and found out that this man was not a member. Lets see bad carpet, phony inspector and a store who will do nothing about bad carpet and pad. The pad has bubbles that pop when you walk on the carpet. All and all a poor experience.
Description of Work: Sold us new carpet and pad and installed both. This was in a new home we were building. Carpet was suppose to be better than contactor grade.
