After 2 years of using AgriLawn my lawn looks absolutely amazing. My lawn was almost 100% weeds and now its basically weed free. I will recommend company for a very long time!

VERY BAD! I used AgriLawn for several years with no problem. This year my Yard is PACKED FULL of weeds, crabgrass, etc 1 month after pre-emergent treatment. They refuse to remedy without charging me again for what I already paid them for. Don't use AgriLawn!!!

Do not use this company. I paid for a year upfront, and I was told through the sales rep Brian to do everything online because I was getting extra discount, and when I called him afterwards to verify everything, he said I did everything correctly, only to find out that it was not done correctly. I paid for an entire year of only half of my lawn. Over half of my lawn is weeds, and when I called the manager to discuss it, she said that was not normal, but they were not willing to make it right. She said I could pay for other services, and even mentioned that it was not reasonable that the sales rep didn’t verify it, and was rude about it. Don’t waste $600 on them. Go somewhere else, they don’t even fully spray the lawn anyways. Here’s what it looks like after a year of service. All weeds.

The most recent and final problem is that in March I ordered an a flea and tick application as part of my annual service. During the summer, we were having problems with ants. The technician said the lawn needed treatment and it was approved, but the technician did not adequately explain there would be an additional charge over the annual cost. We were billed for an add-on to the annual service, at a price far exceeding the price of the original service we ordered. When I contacted the office, my complaint was ignored and no offer was made even to investigate my complaint.
During this period, I found that mites were destroying a well established hedge. Either the spraying included in the annual charge was not done, or it was ineffective. It took numerous calls, at least one no-show by the technician, and not less than 10 days to get a technician out to spray, or re-spray if they ever did it in the first place. That was despite my plea for quick service due to the obvious damage to the hedge. After his visit, the technician left a note saying everything looks great, despite the obvious distress of the plants! That was six weeks ago and the plants have still not recovered.

Awful. We had the OSU County Extension provide a soil analysis to know exactly what our lawn (25,000 sq ft) needed when hiring a company to fertilize for us. Initially Agrilawn wanted to charge us again to do their OWN testing (as if the OSU Extension's analysis are not accurate????). After supplying the written analysis to thier office they agreed to have a treatment scheduled that would coincide with the OSU analysis. ( our lawn needed Sulfur (a t a specific rate) and 10/20/10 because of the acidic levels). Rule #1 at our house..call before you come because we have a gate. You can not get in unless we open it. If you do not call it can take me 1/2 hour to get there to open it...CALL BEFORE YOU COME!!! I made that VERY clear. Did they call before they came? No...Luckily I happened to be home to open the gate anyway. As the young man was prepping the fertilizer I asked what he would be applying...nothing close to what was agreed. He seemed confused that the office did NOT make him aware of the needed fertilizer...I showed him the analysis (provided to the office earlier). He agreed that he needed to go back and get the right fertilizer and thus reschedule the visit. We rescheduled, AGAIN making ti very clear to CALL BEFORE YOU COME. Did they call before they set our the 2nd time??? No. I made it back to the house, let him in and he applied the proper Sulphur and 10/20/10. Said he'd be back in 4-6 weeks or so to followup with another application. Our lawn needs help (that WHY we hired a "professional" company). That was mid April...the entire month of May and June have gone by...on July 8 I call to see why we have had no follow up...our lawn is struggling badly. The girl says that because of the rain in May they have been backed up...they planed on coming back out sometime in July but did not have a scheduled date yet. Funny...our neighbor's professional lawn service experienced the SAME rain but their service has been out 2 TIMES since our SINGLE visit. Unacceptable excuses...especially when our lawn REALLY needed help.
We will either go ahead and start handling the fertilizing ourselves with the OSU recommended chemical and frequency or hire someone else to do it.
So disappointed in Agrilawn...Lets be honest. Lawn fertilizing is NOT rocket science. It can be done JUST AS WELL by the homeowner as ANY company. We TRY to give money to people to make a living...some people are STILL incapable of properly handling a non skilled labor job. This is shameful.
Bottom line...Agrilawn has POOR communication among themselves and awful customer service. It is PAINFULLY apparent that they are really just set up for the easy shotgun service of dropping by small lawns, one after the other and slapping a little generic 10-20-10 and going to the next lawn and calling it good. If one needs a PROFESSIONAL service that required a LITTLE different application...they CANNOT handle it. Don't bother.

Agrilawn has been my go to for lawn service for almost a year. Before them my lawn had bald spots and weeds. After almost a year of service my lawn has NO weeds and bald spots and a section of my lawn appears scorched by a chemical. None of the techs who last service my lawn brought it to our attention.
I contacted Agrilawn and brought it to their attention and I was told they would send someone out. After a week, I confirmed no one was sent out to our home. I was told 7-10 days. I own 2 companies and could not imagine a 10 day waiting period after a customer complained about my service.
We had some rough weather, so I expected a delay. However, I did not expect no contact. So it's going on 17 days since my original complaint and still no word on when they will come.

They will come out for free if we have any questions about our lawn. The service is good. The staff is professional. Usually the managers are pretty good about explaining what is going on with our lawn if we happen to call them and ask them to come out. They will come and give advice about our lawn. They are pretty courteous on the phone as far as I can remember. They are professional. The quality is good. With regard to punctuality, they are pretty good.

Response from AgriLawn Inc
"We are sorry we were not able to resolve the sticker issue with this customer. Stickers are a perennial weed and unfortunately cannot be prevented with pre-emergent applications, nor can they be eradicated from the lawn. They can and do germinate through out the year and have to be treated when they are active. Because of this a 4 step program is not a frequent enough schedule to control stickers. We recommend doing an 8 step program which allows us to be out every 4-6 weeks and provide a more consistent weed control program. Additionally, depending on the severity of the sticker problem at a particular property, we may also recommend adding a perennial weed control program to the regular 8 step lawn program. The perennial weed control program has a one time charge but allows us to schedule follow up visits between regular applications so that we are treating the problem more frequently and able to get a quicker & better control on sticker issues."
