Serious damage to furniture including dining chair completely destroyed into 8 pieces, wooden kitchen chair leg broken in two, entertainment center leg broken off, chest of drawers knobs broken off and totally unusable, Chiba plates and specialty pieces destroyed into many pieces and dining table inserts bent and made unusable. Proper procedures followed in filing claim but after multiple phone calls the company finally said they never received our claim. This company contracts out all work including the trucks used. Their service is so poor I am surprised they are still in business.

Was in and out in no time. they were able to move and assemble the baby grand without a scratch, and moved many heavy items out of a 16' pod into my 2 story home and did everything in the minimum amount of time. Great job guys, thank you!

Arrived, packed, moved and delivered on time.  Very professional in packing and unloading.  Estimate of cost of move was very close to actual cost.  No damage to the goods.

They didn't break anything and did a great job of moving with packing, loading and unloading. Everyone involved was very easy to work with. We received some discounts from this company, but did look at estimates from other companies and chose to go with Ace.

I contacted Ace on 6/27/11 about the cost and availability to do a local move. I was called back on the same day and given a quote and a date for the move. The quote was approximately $600, this charge was for 3 movers/6 hours. I wasn't given any information about any additional charges. On 7/5/11, the date of the move, the movers arrived within the time frame that I was given. The furniture to be moved included heavy pieces and antiques. The movers were young and although they were accommodating they didn't appear to be very experienced. They had difficulty with several pieces of furniture. An iron footboard was dropped on the floor. Because the hardwood floors at the new house had been refinished we laid contractors paper throughout the house to provide some protection for the floors. At the new house they had problems with a heavy armoire and a family antique, a secretary. Both pieces of furniture were damaged moving them into the new house. The armoire was chipped and a part of one of the legs was broken. The finial on the secretary was broken. The floors in two rooms were gouged and scrapped. After the move was completed I was asked to sign paperwork for the cost of the move. I was told that there was a cost for the travel time and a fuel charge. This brought the total cost to $886. I completed a report on the damage to the furniture and the hardwood floors. No one from the company ever contacted me about the damage.

We moved from Broken Arrow to Tulsa, approximately 5 miles. We opted for four men to move our nearly 4000 SF home. Justin, Dustin, Jacob and Jacob were all very polite and worked VERY hard for 10 hours. We were downsizing so some of our furniture went into a storage facility. The storage facility did not allow big trucks on the property so, my husband had the guys load some furniture onto his personal trailer. Then, the men went with him and unloaded the furniture into the storage facility. They were very accommadating and did exactly what was asked of them. They even put the dust ruffles on my beds as they set them up in the new house!
The day we moved it was over 100 degrees, but the guys all managed to keep smiles on their faces and good attitudes. We did furnish them with all the bottle water they could drink. When we offered a sweet snack, they declined, saying as hard as they were working and sweating that anything sweet would make them sick. Next time I will have other snacks available to them.
The only problem we had was a dented refrigerator door. The sidewalk at our old house curved and was on a slope. Though the refrigerator was wrapped, it did slip going down the sidewalk causing the handles of the dolly to dent the door. Thankfully, the weight of the refrigerator was enough that the .60 per pound insurance was enough to cover the cost of the new door.
Overall, this was a good moving experience and we will definitely use Ace should we have another move.

Three movers arrived. Senior mover indicated this was his first time to do inventory and other paperwork unsupervised. They came with the wrong mattress cartons. Assured me mattresses would be placed in cartons as soon as they arrived at warehouse. Mattresses were delivered to destination without ever being placed in protective cartons. Despite minimal furniture needing protection, by the time they were ready to load dinning room table and hutch, they had run out of protective furniture pads. They took no precautions to protect driveway from their truck which was leaking oil. Left a large patch of oil staining driveway. Two cartons labeled as Fragile/Glassware arrived at destination and looked as if they had been handled with grappling hooks. I called day prior to scheduled delivery date and was told to expect delivery between 8:30-10:00 AM. So, wife scheduled day off to receive shipment. Driver called morning of expected delivery. Offered that he picked up shipment at 1:00 am and was on the road, driving from OKC to San Antonio. Delivery would be after 3:00 pm! Of course, this meant driver had been without sleep for 24 hours (or more?)! (Very unsafe for driver, others sharing road, and for my shipment.) Thankfully, driver made it safely, after 5:00pm. Company offered to reschedule, but wife already had taken day off and duties precluded two consecutive days. (Could have rescheduled had dispatcher contacted me even late on day priorand mdash;why I called to confirm delivery in the first place!) There were a few other minor issues with quality of service but enough said already. NOTE: During my college years I worked for a moving company. I have moved 17 times in 35 years. So I have some credibility in assessing this company as somewhat lacking in service, supervision, and professionalism. Too late to make a difference senior rep and survey rep called to apologize that they had dropped the ball regarding driver safety and promise of service.

Overall, it was a reasonably good experience. I, however, didn't get any further than the quote. The fact that they couldn't move me on the days requested (one day was the Friday before a Holiday) was the reason I did not use them.

I had them empty the furntiure from one house and move it to another house. At the second house they moved some furniture out and moved the other furniture in. There was no packing involved. They were a little late (maybe 30 minutes) and griped that they had not allocated enough time because they didn't realize how much furniture was invloved. They had allocated 3 hours and actually did finish within that time. If they had been on time they would not have had to worry about being late for their next job. I had expected two young strong guys, but one was 65 years old. He did a fine job, but I felt like I could not ask them to do some extra rearrangement of furniture, as I had hoped to do, because the job was tasking enough.

The Ace team far exceeded my expectations. We were moving my daughter's stuff and she wasn't completely prepared for the move so the guys helped box some of her items and prepare them for the move. Also, when we mentioned that we were moving her items to storage they wrapped her dresser and some other items in padded paper to protect her stuff from the dust in storage. We have used many other moving companies in the past and all my future calls will go to Ace. The dispatcher worked very quickly as we only called one day in advance and the team was on time, professional, quick, and patient with us since we weren't as prepared as we should have been. It was a little more expensive than I thought it would be but Ace was worth it!

We scheduled our move for 4/29. The movers arrived in the morning a bit late. However, they were ready to go as soon as they arrived; their team of three had us out of our home in less than five hours, more than making up for lost time! They wrapped all of our wood furniture in protective blankets, wrapped all of our upholstered furniture in plastic wrap, carefully broke down beds and dressers (and wrapped all the pieces), and were very careful with all of the boxes we had for them. It was awesome how efficient they were with packing us up in their truck. We weren't moving into our new home right away, so we had them store everything on the trailer for five days (at a very reasonable price). Unloading on the afternoon of 5/6 was just as smooth and pleasant as the loading process. We had the same team unload us into our new home. We were their third job of the day, and although I could tell they were tired and ready to be done, they remained upbeat and professional. Everything was placed where we asked, and they were just as careful unloading as they were loading. Unloading took about five hours. Moving is always going to be stressful, but the guys at Ace made the load, storing, and unload as pleasant and easy for us as possible. They were helpful, upbeat, professional, and very good at what they do. They are also very competitively priced with other companies in the metro area. It was a pleasure using Ace, I only regret we didn't have them unpack our boxes as well ;)

In light of the fact that it was the hottest Summer I can remember, it went well. There was no damage. The men's attitudes were good. Moving is hard.

There weren't any breakables. It was mostly books and computers. The move went really well. They actually had an extra person show up to help with the move. That was nice for us because it didn't take us long to do it. For the most part, they were really pleasant people that you wouldn't mind having in your house. That's the standard for me. I didn't conclude the transaction with them because I was not the last stop as far as dispersing the contents of this office. But as far as I know, everything went very well when they finished it. There was a miscommunication about the time and they arrived earlier, so they had to wait at the building. They didn't seem to have a problem with that, but they did not charge us for the extra time because that was a result of their error.

They were very good. They did only the moving for me. They weren’t very punctual, but they were fine. I will use them again in the future, if required.

I would say that Ace Transfer and Storage is a great company to work with. I would use them again if I needed to. I would recommend them. They have always done a great job for us.
