I was looking for a used pool table for a new man cave and I found good reveiws about A.J.Gill. I stoped in and looked and found several that would work for me and in all price ranges. I found one that I liked and it was like new. It did not even need new felt. They told me that they could take an extra $200.00 off since the color of the wood stain on the legs and the frame did not quite match and that might make it harder to sell. It didn't bother me since my man cave is an office in my busines shop. I bought it and paid to have it delivered and set-up. They were on time and set it where I wanted while making some sugestions for better playability. It was perfectly level when they where done and they told me that it would probably need to be re-leveled after a while as the tables usually settle a little and that they include 1 re-level at no charge. Well I have never needed that re-level as the table is just as level today as the day they set it up.
I loved working with these guys and I was able to get a much better quality of table by buying used than I would have been able to get new. I'm thinking of adding a suffle board table and A.J. Gill will be the first place I go to see if they have or can me one.

Had one tiny issue after installation (due to the new rubber mounted to the 100 year old wood rails) and Steve fixed it in a couple of days. It has played great every day.....and I play a lot of pool.

I bought a new pool table around Christmas 2012 from ANOTHER POOL TABLE COMPANY in NW Okc. I didn't know much about installing pool tables so when they were here doing the install, I assumed they knew what they were doing. First of all, they placed it too close to the wall so we couldn't shoot from one side of the table. They also left wood shims sticking out of the feet, which I felt was very bad looking. When I asked about moving the table over they said it was too late for that. They said I could break the shims off myself in a few weeks. This also seemed strange to me After struggling with this setup, I decided to call a real pool table service company and I found AJ Gill Billard Supply.
They arrived early, and got right to work. They were able to move the table without taking it apart. They then leveled the table with some really accurate levels and used rubber round shims, which didn't show and looked much better. He then showed me how the slate seam was not even and offered to fix it one of two ways. One involved taking the table apart and taking the felt off. I decided to go with the less intrusive route, using shims between the frame and the slate. He finely tuned it by having his helper tap the shims while he felt of the seem up top. He also installed a break dot, which the other company had failed to do. I learned my lesson and would buy from AJ next time to make sure I got a good product and install.
