The provider came out and said they do this all the time, no problem, and could match the pine molding. He said he had a great painter to do the stain and finishing work. I gave him the door to do the work, and when he came back with it, it was much darker than the other doors and the molding was a different wood and design and did not match the other doors around it. When I questioned the color being wrong, he claimed adamantly the door would quickly “lighten” and match the other doors perfectly. He complained bitterly that he had to pay a lot for the molding (which he changed without consulting us), so I reluctantly paid him $70.00 over the final invoice of $430.00, making the total cost $500.00. I asked if I could pay with my VISA, but he claimed he didn’t have his card charger with him and needed a check. My mother disliked the door immediately when she saw it later. When I finally reached him on the phone, the provider said he would ask his painter if it could be corrected and call me back. The next day he sent an email claiming his phone didn’t work and that we’d have to wait six months for the finish color to be “exposed to air” and it would match the other doors perfectly. When a major stain and paint company rep kindly offered to come by the house to exam the door, and I told him what the provider had told me, he shook his head, said the stain color was wrong, the finish was a mess, that it would look exactly the same in six months, the door is ruined, it cannot be fixed, and we’ll have to start over with a brand new door. At least six other professionals have advised us and not one agrees with this provider that it will change color and “match perfectly” the other doors.  To make matters worse, it turns out there is no office, no secretary, no staff, no one else to talk to at all for this “company”  advertising in Angie’s List magazine. When he would not answer his only phone line, he sent a rude email saying he will no longer speak to us over the phone or in person and will only communicate through email from “here on out,” which he has not. My mother is very upset and displeased with his shoddy work and extremely deceptive and  unprofessional behavior (AFTER he misled us and took the $500.00)

I HAD A CUTE FENCE WITH SLATS THAT WERE ABOUT 3 INCHES APART AND 4 FEET HIGHT. IT WAS FALLING APART AND I WANTED ANOTHER ONE JUST LIKE IT. THEY DON'T MAKE FENCE PANELS LIKE I HAD SO RYAN BUILT THE PANELS HIMSELF. THE GATES HE BUILT ARE VERY STURDY AND SWING VERY WELL.. THE JOB WENT QUICKLY AND SMOOTHLY. I LOVE MY NEW FENCES.

I REPLACED A GAS FIREPLACE WITH A WOOD BURNING FIREPLACE. I HAD THE DEN COMPLETELY GUTTED. I TOLD RYAN SOME IDEAS I HAD AND HE DREW UP PLANS FOR A FIREPLACE MANTLE AND HE REPLACED THE BAR IN THE DEN WITH AN AUDIO CABINET AND CUSTOM SHELVES. HE HELPED ME PICK THE GRANITE FOR THE HEARTH, AND HE FOUND SOME GORGEOUS SLATE TO PUT ABOVE THE AUDIO CABINET. A SPECIAL TOUCH WAS THE LIGHTING HE DESIGNED TO SHINE UP OUT OF THE MANTLE WITH A DIMMER SWITCH. HE DID ALL OF THE WIRING, LIGHT DIMMERS, CEILING FAN, AND MANY OTHER THINGS. YOU CAN REALLY TELL THAT THE WHOLE JOB IS ONE OF A KIND. I AM EXTREMELY PLEASE WITH THE JOB AND WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE WITH A CUSTOM JOB THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE.
