Absolutely worst experience in my life. They cut my dog as well as did not tell me.

The service is great. Dr. Biles was referred to me by a friend. He was really considerate and gave time, did not rushed me and he clearly likes animals.

I really like the vet clinic and everyone there but some of their prices are very expensive, this is one of them, trimming dogs nails are another more expensive service and that is with an OU discount.

I have had to go back to my previous vet for simple stuff like the anal glands and nails bc they are almost 1/3 to 1/2 less in price for some services. I like that the office is a one vet office and I will go back for shots, exams--they are about the same price as y previous vet.

When I returned to pick up the dogs I was first surprised by the bill. They charged me double, so I paid the higher price for the larger kennel times two. They also charged me for medicating the dogs, which they did without my permission. They also charged me an additional surcharge for the spring break week, for each dog, which I was not informed of before I made the appointment. I was already furious about all that and when they brought the dogs out, they were covered in fecal matter from being kept in a filthy cage. It was a good thing they didn't wash them first as they promised or I might have never known that my dogs received substandard care. I filed a complaint with the BBB and was told they never responded to the complaint. These people are horrible and should be put out of business.

The reason that we started using them is that I have a friend who works there and so I knew that my dog is in excellent care. I know how they are not just when I go there but also outside of it. It is always very clean. They are very friendly and helpful. If you have any questions, you can always call them.

I just really like the vet, Dr. Byles. He seems very thorough, and he loves my dog. They also have an emergency where you can bring your pet in there 24 hours a day which is nice. In the ER, you also pay $50 fee to come in.

Having called two days in advance to reserve boarding in an "executive" suite since Sassee likes her space, I was quoted a specific price with NO mention of added "seasonal charges". (It was OU/Texas weekend.) We were having to go to Texas 5 hours away because of my mother's deteriorating condition. When we were leaving Norman, we dropped Sassee at the vet kennel at which time my husband who took Sassee into the kennel/clinic, was presented with a contract stating the extra charges of $3.50 per night for the "seasonal charges". We had to get on the road to Texas and he had no choice but to sign the stupid contract.
I called the clinic to explain that we had not been apprised of the extra charge and the person I talked to was rude and said there was nothing she could do. When we picked up my dog this morning, I explained our situation and reminded Westwood that we have spent hundreds of dollars over the past few months at this clinic, and told them I think this practice is fraudulent and unfair. My husband and I explained that we would take our animals elsewhere if this is how they do business and they were stalwart in their stance about the "contract" for seasonal charges. I also told them I would post on Angie's List and they indicated they could not care less. So, I would beware of getting quotes of prices from Westwood Clinic Boarding facility.
