My flowers, grass and shrubs are dying from no water. 

He determined that the pipe was not broken and fixed the sprinkler head.  That was in June and we've had no further problems with it.  He cleaned up the area - and that was difficult because of the muddy area.  I would recommend them, and I would use them again.

Workers left after completing repairs without leaving an invoice detailing what they had done. I received an invoice by mail several days later listing services and parts well beyond the few heads I had wanted fixed--and a bill for $352. When I had similar work done last year by another provider, the cost was well less than half that. I won't be using this outfit again.

After a highly frustrating experience with another company, I called Sooner Irrigation based on reviews posted here on Angie's List. I also called 3 other companies on the same date (Friday, May 23, 2014). I had to leave voice mails with all of them, and the only one to call back that same day was Sooner. The woman who returned the call was knowledgeable and helpful, giving me specific products and prices. Because the company was so busy, the earliest time that the work could be scheduled was the first week of June. Later she called back and said that, because my job was inside, in my garage, they could do it while the forecasted rain would cause cancellations of other outside jobs. Because of her good thinking, the work was scheduled for Tuesday, May 27?9 days earlier than originally quoted. I received a reminder call that Tuesday morning, and the installer came on time as promised. He installed the controller, set the cycles the way I requested and explained the operation to me. It was very refreshing to have a company respond promptly and show some respect for a customer.

If I had winterized properly this wouldn't have happened? but they came out promptly and fixed perfectly. Small repair but good job.

Suggested some easy fixes.  Will use again.

I am very happy with the service provided. I was contacted the same day I called for an estimate and he gave me an approximate date that work would be done. He also contacted me again before the work began to let me know how the schedule was looking. The installers showed up as promised and worked constantly for 3 days. Everyone was polite, hard working and kept me informed as to what they were doing. There was a follow-up about a week later and a demonstration as to how to operate the system and a promise to come back in a couple of weeks to fill in areas that may have settled. I could not have asked for better communication and work done. I especially liked that they stayed in contact as one other company I called had promised a call back for an estimate and that was never received.

it went great, they covered all there tracks in the yard, the sysyem works great and I had a wonderful time dealing with their owner, Joe Elliott. Would recommend him to anyone

He might say "by appointment" but thats not really true. He puts your name on a list and when your name comes up he calls to see if he can come by with in the hour. If not you have to wait for another random day for him to call back and ask the same question. I don't know of many people that can just cut out of work at a moments notice to meet someone at home. 
When we did get him to come by it was two men in an unmarked van he never introduced their-selves. They just asked my wife to open the garage door. After about an hour of digging they disappeared without saying anything. I called the owner and told him this and he got a kick out of it. I didn't think it was very funny to leave my garage door open with no notice and for anyone to walk by and steal what they wanted from my garage. 
So for a month now I've been trying to get him to come back and finish the work. Yet still its the same thing. Call, "can i come by now", "no?", "ok, I'll try again later".

See above. Needless to say, I am very, very pleased.

We wanted a commercial grade irrigation system that utilized leading edge technology.  We did a lot of research and talked to several contractors that tried to convince us to just let them install what they thought we ?needed? without any further input from us.  Then we met Joe Elliott, the owner of Sooner Irrigation.  We had a unique situation that required a much needed drainage system to be installed at the same time as the irrigation system and Joe was able to visualize the project and was willing to work with us to completion.  Joe is very serious about his company and does much of the work himself and stays on site when his crew arrives.  Joe also keeps up with changes in irrigation technology and knows it from top to bottom.  No other contractor came close to quality we found in Joe Elliott and Sooner Irrigation.  We feel lucky to have chosen him as our contractor.

Joe was great to work with -- he's professional and funny, too! He was able to quickly identify and fix the problems in my (antiquated) sprinkler lines, and he even found and repaired a couple of problems I didn't know about. I would definitely work with Sooner Irrigation again -- in fact, I've asked Joe to come out and winterize the system. Highly recommended.

The sprinklers were not working in my front lawn. They had to dig for approx 5 to 6 hrs to find  problem area. They were    very       professional and I would use their services again

Joe Elliott was punctual and was thorough in his evaluation of my existing system.  He gave me a detailed explanation of his recommendation and his price was reasonable.  I scheduled the work to be done and he and his crew showed up on time and got right to work.  The work was completed 4-5 hours later with no surprises or crisis and the price was as he quoted.  Mr. Elliott was very good at communicating and ansered his phone anytime I called him with the exception of one time when I left a message and he called me back that day.
