Took pups in for an ANNUAL checkup in July. Then in October (3 months later) I took them in for their vaccinations that were due. I made it clear in my instructions that all they needed were vaccinations. The front desk person and the vets in the exam room were noticeably uncomfortable as they pretended they didn't hear me. The dogs received a 2nd "ANNUAL CHECKUP" with accompanying charge even though they only needed shots. It's all about money, you know. I haven't gone back and don't plan to.

Adopted puppy from Rose Rock in September or October. Puppy was in custody of Rose Rock after traumatic injury by car and subsequent abandonment some months earlier. Fell in love with little guy immediately and asked to adopt him. I knew he would need 24 hour supervision, a lot of catch up training, and some understanding. Despite bout my qualifications looking less than ideal on paper, they did additional investigation, and listened to my personal experience with my own similar injury and training of difficult dogs. Verbally told me that the probable future amputation would be done free of most charges. Listened to my evaluation that amputation seemed the best route after my observing him for a few weeks. Scheduled amputation immediately and my cost was only $193 as promised! Great follow up and answered all my weird questions. Good on them for putting the animal first over profit - before during and after adoption. Only complaint, be ready to sit in exam room for lengthy periods at appointment time

My older female cat started having some random coughing spasms. I thought it might just be a minor allergy at first because they only happened once a week or so. Eventually, though, they became more common to the point of occurring daily, and with some watery discharge.
Unsurprisingly the cat didn't get better. So I used Angie's List, picked the best vet, and went at the end of the day. They actually saw us after they'd closed because we had waited for awhile. The vet that saw us was brand new, just graduated from school in May, and despite being the end of the day treated us just like it was any other time. He spent a solid 2-3 minutes listening to the cat's lungs as best he could, but couldn't find anything by listening and that we'd need a chest radiograph, which took them all of 5 minutes to do. The radiograph came back saying there was just a bare sign of the donut-shaped striations typical of asthma - but he'd like to get a radiologist to confirm it, and sent me home with prednisolone as that'd be less taxing on the cat's liver in the long run instead of regular prednisone - it's more expensive, but that's what I have pet insurance for. The vet called today and said the radiologist confirmed what he saw, and that he'd like to go ahead and do blood work to make sure there's no infectious disease processes at play. We brought the cat in, they drew blood, and sent us on our way tonight. The vet then called at 9:30 PM, two hours after the clinic had closed, and confirmed the blood work was normal - which basically meant a near guaranteed inflammatory diagnosis, and thus asthma.
All said and done I'd *much* rather have a vet that takes the time to pay attention to my cat, and upon seeing a test result that's not 100% conclusive (the radiograph) admitting that they'd feel more comfortable with a consult to confirm what they were seeing. It's what any doctor would do with a person. It was nicer still for the vet to rush the blood work right as they were closing so they could know if the cat needed to be on a different drug as soon as possible.
Rose Rock is definitely where I'm taking my pets from now on.

Always very friendly, professional. Great, service. Our dog always comes home happy and smelling great after boarding.

The vets communicate well, and provide very competent care. They even sent a condolences card when my cat died.  A little pricier than most, 'but worth every penny and more

I've never used their service before, but when I walked into the place I felt like I was in a Spa.  It was a Spa for Pets, but it felt like other Human Spa's I had been in.  It was so cute.  They showed me the different areas and I chose Bark Park, it was for smaller dogs.  It had plexis-glass areas for the pets instead of cages.  There was a artificial green grass  rug in an area for the dogs to play.  They had put out ramps, etc. to give the dogs a better experience.  Oliver seemed to be fine when I picked him up.  He was really excited and it took me a while to calm him down.  I really loved the email that I received from them in Oliver's words "having fun". This was the first time I had left him.  He got two massages, two play times, and he was groomed & nails his done.  I will definitely use them again.

My experience has been good. We've been using them since December. I really like the veterinarian. There are several veterinarians in there. I really like Dr.Gillock. She is always friendly and helpful. She calls me a few days later to ask how my cat was doing. She has been very happy and my pet dog will.

They have four vets and they're all women but the one that I use Dr. Gillock. The person who worked on the cats last July applied the flea and the heartworm medicine on the back of the neck so the cat won't lick it off. In June, whoever applied it had applied it a little bit too low and she was able to lick it off. She wasn't deadly sick and wasn't going to die but she felt pretty bad and didn't eat for several days. I contacted Dr. Gillock and she actually did some medical research and told me that there are some rare reactions in some cats to ingesting that flea medicine and it so happened that my cat had those reactions. She was very, very helpful and she even surprised me more. After we went through that about a week later, she had someone call and follow up and ask me how my cat was doing. They charge $5 to apply the flea medicine and they charge $9 to do the nail trim. They're a little bit pricey. They have four vets and if one's not available, somebody else can take care of me if there's an emergency. It's nice to know that there are other people and even if they haven't seen my cat, they're available and could help. I've never had to wait.

They took excellent care of our sensitive and sometimes skittish English bully. They texted us with pictures while we were out of town, and when we picked her up, she was squeaky clean and had a cute spring handkerchief on. I would recommend Rose Rock in a heartbeat to anyone worried about boarding their pets for the first time.
One note: I bought the $79 deal but it wasn't applied to my dog's stay. I don't think that was Rose Rock's fault; I had a hard time trying to figure out from Angie's List how to apply the coupon after I purchased it.

We like them very much. They are very interested in your pets. We boarded our dogs there, came out and taken very good care of her, and our dog is very anxious to in see the people there, very happy to go in because she's very happy to get out too. I have seen probably all the doctors over the year at different time and they're all very concern, listen to what we are concern about with her, and they list the options, the tests that they could give her, and we can choose either yes or not. We've been with them for a long time. I think they are valuable and concern about the animals that they see, and that worked a lot. His professional.

I purchased a deal they were offering through Angie's List for boarding, grooming, bath and upgraded accommodation. We were happy with the services they provided and have taken our dog back multiple times since when we leave town. We also use them as our vet and have been happy.
