As good as I could've hoped. I feel like they were very thorough, and they were very nice. We paid for the additional service of checking the sprinkler system, and I believe it was money well spent.

There were great!

Great. They found hidden defects in the heat and air ductwork, a breaker that was overheating, a gas leak at the fireplace and at the water heater, and tornado damage to the roof framing, and the cause of a roof sag that was going to occur if not fixed immediately. My Buyers were thrilled and we had a clear list of repairs to negotiate with.

OIS did an outstanding job on our home inspection. We are purchasing a home built in the 1950's, so ensuring that we got a good inspection was extremely important to us. The inspectors arrived on time and were extremely thorough. They were friendly and didn't mind my husband and I following them around, asking a series of never-ending questions. They were informative, professional, and well-versed in their trade. They inspected every inch of the house with a detailed eye. Once they completed the process, they spent a lengthy amount of time going through their findings with us and explaining the who/what/when/where/why of their report. The report came with detailed findings along with price estimates. We would definitely use them again!

OIS did an very thorough and complete inspection. They looked at things, I didn't even consider asking them to. The report they provided was detailed and had general pictures, as well as pictures of all areas that had concerns. The report also included a estimate of the costs to repair the issues with the home.
The inspectors were early and had already done an exterior inspection when I arrived. They moved quickly, but methodically, and were able to complete the inspection of a 1620 sf home in an hour. They allowed me to follow them around and explained problems and let me decide how serious they were with all the information. They were exceptional.
The one area they excelled in was telling me where additional inspection by specialist were needed.
For example, there was a splice in the main electrical box from an addition to the home. The inspector was concerned by this and recommended it be inspected by an electrician and potentially replaced. They didn't try to wear too many hats and I'm glad they didn't. Once a master electrician looked at the electrical in the house, he said everything was acceptable and the splice was done in a way that made it up to code and safe, saving me about $500. I was glad they pointed it out, but happier they didn't speculate.
I would recommend Oklahoma Inspection Service to anyone and will use them for all home purchases. A+ work.

They did a very thorough job and explained their findings while on site.  Received a report with pictures that evening by email.

As I moved from out of the area I was unable to be there for the inspection.  The inspector met with my representative and was very through in his report.  He sent me the total evaluation and many photos so that I could see the items that were hard to describe.  I appreciate their ability to work with me from out of town.  Also they were able to do the inspection shortly after contacting them and the report was written very promptly.

These guys were easy to schedule with and made an excellent and comprehensive report with pictures and good explanations. They were also friendly and professional during the inspection, and happy to answer questions or point things out as they saw them. The owner was prompt at calling me back to schedule service, and the inspectors arrived when they said they would. Overall, I would not hesitate to use these guys again, and would recommend them to a friend.

They did a thorough inspection of an investment property.

They gave me a pre-sale inspection of my home. They did a pretty good job except they reported my A/C did not work properly and I had just had it checked two weeks before. It was reported to me by A/C company that inspectors just did not give it enough time to drop the temperature. Were this the real deal someone would have gotten the wrong idea about my system.

Very good. They were thorough and went systematically through the house. They reported every problem as they saw it and we have now lived in the house for a year and were prepared for the problems based on their report. Overall really good job for the money.

When facing a looming closing date, time is essential as well as accuracy of an inspection.  That's when it is critical to get an inspection service that truly works for the client-buyer who is paying the bill and thinking of purchasing the home.  This is NOT the time to get a good-ol' buddy of the real estate agent (who is actually working for the seller anyway).  I really valued getting this service due to finding them on Angie's List with a very well-deserved, high rating.  They were prompt, arrived when promised, and built enough time into their schedule for the two of them to work quickly and thoroughly to inspect every aspect of the house.  This was not an easy house to access from the crawl space; but, they made no excuses and wiggled in where they needed to.  They communicated with me at the time that they were doing it and consulted and advised me on what could be done next to remedy certain situations.  They found several large issues that could have easily remained hidden from me had they been less thorough or quietly too friendly with the real estate agent.  I am completely sold on this service and will not hesitate to use them, or recommend them, in the future.

We needed a home inspection for the house we were buying.  The appointment was wasy to make; they made it a point to work with our schedule.  They were 10 minutes early, which is always nice!  They were VERY thorough (roof, attic, ALL outlets, windows, etc). We has specific area we wanted them to look at and they were more than accomodating. They went over everything they found as well as provided an electronic copy of their list the same day. The house was under renovations and the seller was behind so they could no inspect everything (plumbing mainly). They gave us a considerable discount and offered to come back when the renovations were complete (There is a charge for the return service but it comes out to almost the same as the original full inspection price). We really appreciated their honesty, work ethic, and objective opinion.  They were very knoweldgeable and either answered all of our questions OR had a reference for us to get the answer. We will use them again!

They were very professional, prompt, and did a super job.  They provided a detailed report the next day and even followed up with a correction they caught shortly after.  Very good company and highly recommend them!
