NORMAN COMPUTERS

I had a gaming computer built by Norman Computers, and I supplied the parts; unfortunately, it was not up to standard. The Liquid cooler is now showing an error after being damaged by an incorrect setup. The next and far more egregious issue was the power supply with multiple power plugs not pushed in all the way. This caused numerous vital components of the computer to be damaged and need to be replaced at extra personal cost to me. While it is clear that Norman computers employees are good guys, their Attention to detail is severely lacking, and their understanding of the newest gaming hardware is behind the times. If you are doing a new build, save time and money by going through a more experienced shop or online retailer.

Mark and his team are hands down the best of the best! My external hard drive crashed containing 14 years of my life, all my kids pictures since their birth, my pictures from 14 years of my career in the military, literally so many cherished memories. Everyone I talked to said it was a lost cause, except for Mark and his team! Mark didn't stop when even him and his team couldn't get it fixed, he reached out to his sources and after months of work they were able to recover all of precious memories! I absolutely recommend this company! I'm beyond thankful to them and forever grateful that they cared enough to see it through and were able to get all of my data recovered!

I have had the worst possible service provided by Norman Computers. I put my laptop in their shop to replace a $15 power source and ended up paying them to replace several other parts they messed up attempting to change the power plug. After paying them over $500 the computer did not work and had colored lines flashing across the entire screen. Only after threatening to sue them, did they agree to replace my computer with the exact model. They did not do that. What should of taken a few days turned into 6 weeks. They bought an old, cheaper model with half the hard drive space that my computer had, the plug for earphones is broken and if you touch the screen or close the laptop, the screen becomes blurry and distorted. The laptop was filthy, covered in dust, animal hair and had sticky goo stuck all over they keyboard.I have had nothing but rude, unprofessional replies from the management who lied and blamed it all on me that they could not fix it. I would not recommend them to touch anyone's computer if you ever want it to work again!

Mark accessed my computer remotely and changed some settings on it to prevent the problem I was having accessing different programs.  He also ran several problems to make sure that I had no spyware or viruses.  He was very friendly and explained the whole process to me.  I was able to watch the entire process on my computer here in Bloomington.

I had used Norman Computers for many years when I lived in Norman, OK and had always had very positive experiences.  They serviced my old computer several times and built me a new desktop computer before I moved.  They do excellent work at aa very reasonable price.  I am very happy that I can still use them.

My computer was running slowly and I was told I needed more memory. Not being computer literate, I was at a loss. Of all the places I called, they were the most helpful with the most reasonable prices. I took it in this morning around 10:45 and it was fixed and ready to go by 2:30 pm. Very helpful.

Norman computers has something of a junky look, They look a bit under funded and don't have the most professional demeanor, however there work is excellent. They seem to understand all aspects of computers. They have a more academic attitude than a business one, however they get the job done right and done fast. Over the years I have had them do a number of very large projects for us. They have done an excellent job. We have never had any hardware problems from any system that they have sold us. Norman Computers price is a bit more than some of there competitors, but they get the job done right the first time (cheaper in the long run) The computers we have purchased from them have been far more reliable that the ones we got from the leading national supplier. Over all, the best computer company I have dealt with.
