McCoy Painting & Remodel

Our house was built 27 years ago. McCoy Painting gave us an estimate which was stating all details that needed to be done for exterior painting, exterior wood repairs, chimney repair and labor and materials fee. They have done an amazing/professional job! They have power washed surfaces before painting to get let of dust. Replace some deteriorated woods. Caulked and sealed cracked/gaped woods. All of our house’s wood problems were fixed. Moreover, they used high quality paint and they painted it beautifully. Our house now looks great!

We initially joined Angie's List in order to find a reputable painter.   We had 4-5 companies come out for estimates.  Not only did prices vary greatly from company to company but so did the approach in the analysis of our home .  Darin McCoy stood out from the rest by providing a very thorough examination of our home and promptly providing a very professional itemized quote.   Pricing for this job was more than fair.
Darin and his crew were dedicated to completing this job in as little time as possible so as not to inconvenience us.  They communicated regularly with us regarding their proposed work schedule and what their objectives were for each day.  They were prompt to arrive and worked long hard days.  The quality of their workmanship was impeccable.  That point cannot be emphasized enough.  Equally as impressive was their level of professionalism.  It was a pleasure to have them here and we are so pleased with the results.
Not only would we recommend McCoy Painting & Remodeling to others, but my husband and I will ask for their services again should we require additional work or remodeling done to our home.

Darin showed up for the quote when he said he would. He explained the how the process would go in detail. The quote was received within 2 days. His crew was exceptional and each one had their area of expertise. Every day the area was cleaned and tidy. Due to the weather, the time estimate was twice as long but I understood this as no one can paint in the rain or 25 mph winds. Bottom line is this guy is good. Sure, you can find cheaper painters out there. However, if you want the job done right and be done the way you would do it, this is the painter for you. I've used other painters before and not one of them was as detailed to protect your property as Darin was. He even found thin spots from when the house was painted during construction and applied a heavier coat in those ares. This is the reason why I had so many soffit repairs. All new wood was primed before painting. Some of you may look at the price I paid and call it ridiculous but I disagree. My house is not a cookie cutter and has 3 different designs in the roof which includes many overhanging eaves and has 4 dormers. I also used above average paint. I would use Darin and his crew again. I even got a quote for some inside paint and repairs that was very reasonable. However, my wife said since I won't be up 30ft in a ladder that I can do those jobs. I just hope she doesn't expect it done during fishing season!

Not a cheap slap dash job for a rental.  
Absolutely first rate and able to include modifications in work without difficulty.

McCoy painting delivered a first class job from beginning to end.  Cleaning, caulcking, masking, selection of paint, painting and cleanup were all performed on time and on budget as proposed and estimated.
When paint usage turned out to be a little less than estimated, arin McCoy reduced the final price by the amount saved by 
the savings in material.
Several small modifications of the job which came up during work were accommodated without problem. 
I am absolutely delighted with McCoy Painting and fully recommend Darin's company  to anyone who wants a first class job that will last for years and needs no "touch ups" or "follow-ups for foul-ups".

It went great and we were completely satisfied with the quality of the work and the care give to preventing damage to the areas where the workers had to work.

They called me back within the day after I left a message. We set a time to meet. Darin arrived on time and was pleasant.

The next day he sent a very professional estimate to me by email. It outlined everything that was to be done/painted and items that were not to be painted. He even listed approx locations of the wood that was being replaced. We set an approximate start date. They stayed in contact with me by email and text. The communication was GREAT!!!!! I really appreciate that.

The estimate was not the lowest, but I checked them out thoroughly and thought they were a dependable company. They are insured and had their insurance company send me some papers.

Darin and two helpers did the work. They did an excellent job. They left my home and yard clean at the end of every day.

I had Darin give me an estimate for some inside repairs and painting. He offered some alternatives that will save me money. He is very honest. I will be hiring him again.

Overall one of the most professional and honest companies that I have worked with.
