Alan came over EARLIER than scheduled (because he rocks!) and quickly conducted a load calculation (we are selling our home and this was part of the inspection). As usual, he kept us informed of what he was doing and his turn-around was swift.

A friend of mine referred us to use Masters when we bought a rental property last spring and needed to complete some renovations, including completely adding duct work and a new A/C and heating unit. Alan did great work then, and needless to say we have been continually calling on him ever since that first experience.
We have had multiple issues with our home system in our personal residence, and after using a few other HVAC companies that proved to be less that savory with regard to price, quality, efficiency (1 company had to called out 3 times for the same issue!), we decided that we would continue to use Masters Mechanical based on how knowledgeable, friendly, prompt, and efficient Alan is with what he does. He doesn't try to sell us anything we don't need, and he works hard at identifying what the actual problem is in order to make sure it gets fixed correctly.

• This visit, Alan showed me that the outside coils in my AC unit were too dirty to efficiently do its job. He cleaned the coils, as well as ensured that there was enough pressure and cold air getting to my downstairs unit. Previously, we had a problem with not enough cold air getting through the house and it was (predominantly) due to the dirty coils in the unit. He also took a look at the dampers and additional parts of the HVAC system to make sure that everything else was running the way it needed to. Did he have to do that? No, but rather than clean 1 item an assume it fixed the problem, he went the extra mile and checked everything else, and its a good thing he did, because of the faulty damper that compounded the initial issue.

I'm the kind of guy that enjoys standing around when I call professionals to service something in my home, and I like to ask questions. Alan knows this, because everytime he comes around, I like to watch him work and ask questions. This doesn't bother him in the least, and he welcomes the questions that I ask. He especially doesn't feel threatened when I ask if what he's doing is something I can do myself in the future, which is one of the main reasons why we continue to use his services. He is an incredible resource and fund of knowledge and an excellent repairman. I would use him hands down in any situation, because I know he will take care of me and my family.

They responded quickly with a callback to set an appointment time, and were flexible in working within my schedule.
They showed up promtly and performed maintenance quickly and professionally. No surpises.

Came out the same day I called and they called that evening to give me the estimate.  Ordered the parts and came the next day to install at the time they said.  Up and running quickly.
