Eco Landscaping did a wonderful job. Removed the existing flagstone and edging. Increased the size of the patio to the original design specifications. Regraded the base to take care of the drainage issues of the first patio. Recommended and installed a beautiful stone selection for the top that does not move around when you walk on them as the previous ones had. Reinstalled the edging making sure that it was straight, square, and at the proper height. A very nice finished product. Adam and his crew were respectful of our property and did not leave trash or tools scattered around and throughly cleaned up the work area after they were done. Very pleased with our decision hiring Eco Landscaping to clean up the mess left from the first contractor. Definitely our first choice for any future design and landscaping projects.

Very good work, very professionally done. They excavated a small section of the yard next to an existing bed, and put fresh planting soil into the spot, then lined the edge of the new gardening bed with stones. It looks very nice, and blends in well with the existing bed, and is already doing very well with our spring vegetable planting. Also, Adam was very helpful when he came out to discuss the plans for the bed, and other long-term plans for our yard. He provided some really good ideas for future work, and some nice tips for things we could do ourselves to improve the yard (suggested plants, etc).

It was okay, nothing great. They just did the job, it was nothing spectacular. They went over the 2 hours so they charged a little bit more. I would probably not use them again.

I kept having to explain what needed to be done. I don't use them anymore and I certainly do not use "package deals" any more. The lower price is just a foot--in-the-door thing to bump up the price. I'd rather have a hard-bid and be done with it. I'm not up-sell consumer.

I like the work that the owner did, now some of his help, I didn’t really feel like they were qualified. I mean a lot of times people say I’ll come do this, or I’ll come do that, for example, if you’re cleaning out a flower bed, there’s a reason that the home owner are not netting the weed, it’s a weed fabric that you put down, and one girl was just pulling that all up. Overall, I think he did his best to facile what people wanted to do, I was just a little disappointed in some of them. We just seem like we had a communication problem, I don’t know if it was my fault or his, but I think with a little more experience he could be a good company.

"This work was back in early spring so it's hard for me to comment on the specifics of the clients complaints. We do sometimes remove landscape fabric (weed fabric) from beds because it's not something we reccomend using in that situation. Perhaps that was the source of confusion. You would b hard pressed to find anyone more experienced in landscape maintenance given that we have been in the business since 1998. We are however a small specialty firm that focuses on ecological landscaping so we might not be for everyone. As with any business it's helpful for the customer to communicate any problems they have with the work. We do our best to rectify any problems or complaints. As with any business we do sometimes have new crew members who don't have as much experience but we do our best to bring them up to speed as quickly as possible."

It went very well, even though sometimes the team had to work with lots of mud and sometimes, they worked in light rain. They were extremely careful with our inground sprinkling system and they often checked with me about how I liked the progress. After work had been started and they had a better idea of how swampy my yard could get, (thank you Mother Nature for all that extra rain this year), I asked about extending the French drain under the fence and into the front yard. Adam agreed that it would be a good idea and redid his original plan to include that. There were more expenses because of the change but I think the yard needed it and since he had to add supplies and do additional work, I had no problems paying more.
Adam was extremely thoughtful about the design process and the actual work. His team was polite and hardworking. Since a friend recommended Adam's company, I have no idea if the price I paid was the market price because I only talked to Adam about what I wanted. This not usually the way I do things--I get recommendations and ask for bids but my friend raved about the company and I am extremely happy with Adam's work and would hire him again in a heartbeat so I'd say my leap of faith worked out.
My only negative comment would be that I had to wait awhile before they could get to my project but honestly, I think this is actually a compliment because so many people want Adam to do their yards that there's a line for his services!

arrived with three workers not too well equipped with a very small open trailer to haul away bushels of leaves. Also added a charge for Hauling and disposal.

"This was part of an Angies list Big Deal promotion we took part in. Unfortunately this client didn't adequately inform us of the massive volume of leaves he had. The deal was set up for a normal sized yard with a normal amount of leaves. Despite the fact that we were somewhat under equipped to handle the volume he had, we got it done and all hauled off within the deal amount. The deal clearly stated that hauling and disposal were not included in the amount pre paid so I don't think there is any room to complain there. Indeed, this gentlemen received a very good deal on this service as normally it would have cost significantly more. Had we have been better informed of the magnitude of work he had we would have equipped ourselves differently."

It went fine. I had no problems scheduling even though it was a busy time, and they were available to come before they originally thought they could. They sent a crew of 2-3 and they were here for about two hours. The yard was a mess and after they were done it looked fine. They were very professional and polite. I was satisfied.

We needed our flower beds cleaned up, overgrown weeds around the house and edging done. They showed up on time, asked what I wanted done and got right to work. I couldn't believe they were able to accomplish the entire clean-up in an hour, but they did. They even went above and beyond what I asked and edged around our storm shelter, propane tank, and two10 ' wide water tanks we used for vegetable gardens. They did a very good job and were such nice conscientious young adults. I will ask them back in the spring to help me do some landscaping.

I asked them to dispose of all the leaves in the yards and beds around the house. They did a fantastic job very efficiently and did not charge me for hauling extra debris away. It's also a plus that the owner communicates and schedules through texts, as I'm not always available to take phone calls.
