Excellent and professional work, reasonable in price as compared to our previous tree jobs. Mr. Gene Davis is a solid and honest person to do business with. I wish we had hired him before now, but plan to call him back in the future.

Gene and his crew did a tremendous job of systematically trimming each tree, which raised the canopy and providing great new visibility in the yard and resolved the precarious branches overhanging our roof line. All of the vines, which had overtaken several trees, were stripped from the tree trunks. The weeds/shrubs/landscaping was tamed and it is now possible to see the intentional plantings and the natural beauty that was obscured by all of the overgrowth. I'm not sure how many loads of dead trees and yard waste was hauled away, but it had to be at least ten. Gene and his crew were on time, polite, and extremely hard-working. After the job was done Gene followed-up to ensure my wife and I were pleased with the outcome. The transformation was dramatic and my wife and I are very pleased. I highly recommend Gene Davis to you for all your tree services if you live in or around Norman.

Gene was very easy to work with. I live out of town and needed the work done for my Father's house. He was able to meet on short notice and gave me an EXTREMELY FAIR quote. He and his crew showed up as planned and did an outstanding job on the trees. They also did a great job of cleaning everything up. I will definitely use him again!

I contacted Mr Davis via Angie's List and he emailed his reply right away. I explained that my painter could not proceed until that shrub was gone.
Mr Davis immediately understood and was very accommodating and went out of his way to come out to the house that evening after I'd gotten home from work, make an estimate, then complete the job the next day. He did not require me to take off work and trusted me to mail in my payment to him according to the verbal agreement we had made through email. His estimate was totally reasonable and I was very pleased about that.
And, by the way, I had expected to pull into the driveway after work and see limbs and green debris that I needed to clean up. Not so... I drove up and pulled in and it looked like scorched earth ... without the scorch... Just smooth, raked soil where it had been.... no limbs, no stump, no visible evidence that the shrub had ever existed.
And, actually, that's saying something because you should've seen that shrub... truly a jolly green giant. Good job, Mr. Davis!
Yes, I would definitely hire Davis Tree Service again. He seems like a kind man when he talks to you, focuses on accommodating his customers, is very reasonable in his estimates, and is punctual and professional in every way.

It went very well. They were very professional.

They did a good job and it was well worth it. We had 3 bradford pears and 2 small cedars up front that they trimmed for us. They cleaned up. They were contentious and talked to us. They listened what we had to say and did exactly what we asked them.

Mr. Davis was very professional, appeared timely and performed the work as discussed.  I am very happy with the job he did.

They did a great job and cleaned up all limbs.

I called Gene for an estimate on removing some trees and trimming some others. He came out the next day and gave me a good price(I had other estimates). We scheduled the job for the next week when the ground dried out. He arrived at the agreed upon time and completed the job that day. He cleaned up all the debris and no property was damaged. Because of the tree locations, all the work was done manually. Gene was very professional and did everything I had requested.
