I liked him a lot. I was very pleased with his work. He never needed me for anything. I called him on Friday at 5pm, and he came out the same day. I was extremely grateful because my A/C was not working and it was because of that circuit board. I would use them again.

Very polite. Has always been punctual and great communication. He works quickly and quietly, and is very polite. I am very happy with the jobs that he has performed for me. Every time he leaves, I think of more things that I would like to have done! He will be coming back soon. Cleans up after his work and has always charged the quoted price. Highly recommend.
Description of Work
Installed GFI outlets inside garage and outside garage, wired both to new breaker in main. I have used him before for additional electrical work such as adding new electrical outlets, replacing old ones, adding light fixtures and more.

Roger is a professional. He explained every part of the project, how long the job would take and the cost. Roger and his assistant Jason showed up every day on time and worked all day. The inspector said the job was wonderful as he was given detailed diagram with photos of the work that was performed. The i's are dotted and the t's are crossed! We will be using Roger again in a couple of months for a rewire of the master bath. Great guy.

New breaker box placed outside, junction boxes in house and new wiring with ground wires. New outlets with grounds in every room. Rewired our kitchen remodel.

Excellent. I've used Mr. Byars on a couple of other small jobs. He and his helper are very professional. They've been very reasonable on the cost of each of the jobs, and I could not be happier with the work that they've done.
Description of Work
Switched out a light fixture in my kitchen. Also replaced a faulty light socket in one of the hallway lights, and removed and installed a smoke detector that is hard wired into my home.

I called this afternoon; he called back almost immediately and fit us in the same afternoon. Work was done quickly and professionally. He even handled somewhat unusual but ultimately straightforward service on my burglar alarm system (detach batteries temporarily due to system malfunctioning during recent power outages). Couldn't be happier with the service and friendliness.

After recent tornados, our power was out, but only in the two bathrooms. I called and left a message to schedule an appointment with Roger and within the minute he called me back. He proceeded to talk me through how to get the bathroom lights back on, apparently there is a separate outlet in the garage called a GFI outlet. Our phone conversation was about a minute, maybe 2. He didn't schedule an appointment, or charge us anything, didn't take advantage of us by scheduling a service call for a two minute fix. Roger is an honest man of integrity, I will be using him in the future.

Mr. Byars arrived at the time promised and installed the new service in a timely manner and was very professional. He answered all my questions and cleaned up after the work was done. The price was very reasonable and I would highly recommend him to anybody in need of a electrician. It's not often you find somebody of this caliber in this day and age. I will definitely use Byars Electric the next time I am need of an electrician.

I have a home based business that means I have to have work done on my home on the weekend only. I needed the electrical box and hookup removed from my house so damaged siding could be repaired. Mr. Byers agreed to coordinate with my carpenter. He came before dawn to do the disconnect on a Sat. so my carpenter could replace the siding. It was raining that morning. He gave me a cell number to contact him as soon as the repairs were done so he could get me hooked back up. He came back as soon as I called and ended up working in the pouring rain with the carpenter to get the electrical box and hookup finished that same day. He was prompt, efficient and went over and above to take care of me. I cant remember exactly how much he charged. I do remember it was significantly less than the electric company who came and hooked me back up after a big storm knocked the lines off the back of my house the year before. They charged $440 for half the work. I think he charged me about $300 -$350. I plan to use him for any future electrical issues.
Description of Work
Removed electrical hookup to house, and the electrical box on outside of house, and the phone hookup box so siding could be replaced. Then reconnected everything with new brackets and parts as needed.

Everything went wonderfully. Mr Byars is very professional but also extremely nice and personable, and an excellent Electrician! Amazingly for all he did, he made very little mess, and cleaned up each of his workspaces perfectly. We felt for the work done, and supplies he provided that the charges were more than fair. He did everything we wanted done and even more. He did not seem in the least bit rushed, but worked with apparent ease, steadily and efficiently. We will definitely call Mr Byars any time we have need of electrical service. We know he can totally be trusted to do any job excellently. And we can unreservedly recommend him to anyone in need of the services he offers. Being the owner and operator of his company is also a plus because he has total control of each job. His work is his best form of advertising, and he has our highest regard.
Description of Work
Mr Byars removed an old ceiling fan and installed a new one that we had purchased previously. He then took the light kit from our old fan, which had lead crystal globes, and installed it on the fan in our den, which had never had a light kit. I showed him a light switch that had never been used for any lighting in the room and he said it was probably an extra that could indeed be used to connect lighting to the fan. Then I showed him a chandelier I had bought for our formal living room to be put in an area that had no previous fixture. I pointed out to him that there was also a light switch in that room that seemed not to be connected to anything either. Mr Byars then went up into our attic and soon came back down, saying that yes, those 2 switches had never been wired, but he could do it immediately. He obtained the necessary supplies from his truck and went back up into the attic. He then came back down and easily installed the chandelier with proper bracing and wiring that he provided, as well and had already connected the switch to the wiring he had just installed. As he had also wired the other switch to our den fan he then took our old light kit which had great sentimental value to us, and wired it onto our den fan-after balancing said fan and saying it was still a good, usable one. He also put new bulbs in the fixture now in our den. And I almost forgot-he also provided the bulbs for the new fan in our bedroom and installed the accompanying light switch-also said that we had gotten a very high-quality fan.

He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. He has a lot of experience as an electrician. We will hire him again for more bathroom lighting. His charges for what he does is very reasonable.
Description of Work
