Big O Tires - Norman

I have bought several sets of tires from them for 4 different vehicles over the past 5 years. In general I have been happy with the tires, their service on those tires, etc. Since they are relatively close to our house, I have had them change the oil when I take cars in for tire rotations. The customer service reps at the counter are in general very friendly and helpful.
I have had one bad experience with them on an oil change (about 18 months ago). They did not get the oil filter seated right, and all of the oil ended up on the floor of my garage. But to their credit, one of their service technicians noticed that there was a pool of oil in their parking lot where my car had been parked before I picked it up. They did some quick detective work and guessed that it was my car - so they called me and asked me to check underneath the car - which I did and saw all the oil. I managed to get back to their shop just as my oil light came on. They fixed the problem, and refunded my money. The rep also gave me a card with a note on the back of it saying it was good for a free oil change. But after that incident I have not done so, and probably won't.
Another incident I know of is that my Father-in-Law ended up with an oil leak after having his oil changed there about 2 months ago. He took it to another repair shop and they found that they had over torqued the oil pan nut, smashing the washer and thus causing the leak. He is now looking for someone else to change his oil.
So bottom line is that if you need new tires/service, they are not a bad option. But I would avoid oil service.

They installed the tires and aligned them at the time of purchase. I was happy with their service and I will go back to Big O Tires.
