The gentleman who came to fix my dishwasher didn't bother to introduce himself, so I can't attach a name to the shot job. Silly me took him at his word when he left, stating the problem was fixed. The original call was made Thursday, for standing water in the dishwasher. They were able to squeeze me in Monday afternoon. After he drove off, I opened the dishwasher to find we still had standing water. . When I called to speak with someone at the office I was informed that they were booked solid for three more days. I hate to ask but I did- if there was anyway to squeeze me as he (the repair man) probably should've stayed behind to actually make sure the problem had been solved. She will have to call back blah blah blah. I call back at 5:02! A terrible man named Richard answered, gets incredibly defensive, "I can't let you speak with her, we are CLOSED." I'm sorry, so why are you answering the phone?! I can not wait 3 more days, for something that should have been resolved today! I can not continue to boil bottles like a 1930s house wife!! I have an infant. He was incredibly dismissive and quite annoyed with my complaint. Tells me to call back in the morning to speak with Clay. Seems to me they are too concerned with packing the books with unknowing customers, than providing any kind of quality work. Then they have the audacity to get angry at the customer for demanding the work be finished in a timely manner. Save yourself the trouble!!!!! Find a reputable company- sorry to say appliance guys isn't one

Arrived before appointed time, after confirming phone call.  Got to the problem quickly, removed the freezer door and repaired the broken wires that had caused the dispenser to malfunction.  Cleaned the dust from the lower intake section and cleaned up nicely.  Good service and fair pricing.

Initial phone contact made to The Appliance Guys to arrange service call to repair a 4 yr old dishwasher. Appointment made quickly. Serviceman Bryan, arrived promptly. He was friendly, but kept calling me "Honey". I didn't say anything, but wasn't happy about it. He opened dishwasher panel and discovered latch mechanism had snapped open and parts dislodged. He said he hadn't seen that type of mechanism before. He reassembled it and dishwasher worked. I asked if he had the time to look at the gasket on a 3 yr old upright freezer, it was sticking and didn't seem to seal well. He said yes, and that it wasn't sealing well and that they would order a new gasket/seal ($102). A few days later, he came back to install the new gasket. I paid the invoice that he handed me in full, for service for dishwasher repair and freezer gasket and replacement. $102 for parts and $104 for labor. Serviceman left a couple of his tools behind and we delivered them to their shop. 8 days after the initial repair, the dishwasher stopped working; same problem, as before. I called them to arrange for them to come back; this time a replacement part was ordered (approx 7.00 part). Another appointment was made and Bryan returned. He quickly installed the new part and handed me an invoice for the part and additional labor ($15). I told him I would pay for the part but didn't think I should pay for the labor. He looked at me funny and I asked if I should call his office. He said yes and handed me the invoice with the phone number. I called and was put on hold. While on hold he informed me that the office manager was going to tell me that I had to pay it. I told him that I had never had to pay twice for the same repair from any other service provider. He asked how I was going to pay and I answered that I would have $7 cash. He developed a HOSTILE ATTITUDE and held his hand out to take the invoice and said that he would just pay the $15 himself, that he couldn't wait any longer. Still on hold, I hung up the phone and gave the invoice back to him and told him I was not impressed and that I would call their office back. He acted DISGUSTED and said he had another appointment. His behavior was not only INAPPROPRIATE but upsetting as I was home alone, so I didn't say anything more and told him goodbye as he walked angrily out the door mumbling a SARCASTIC Happy Thanksgiving. I called the office back, and was on hold 10 minutes, left a message and didn't receive a call back. After about 10 more minutes, I called the office again. I reported the serviceman's poor behavior to the office manager who owns the business with her husband. I asked if it was their practice to charge labor on a call to re-repair the same problem. She was polite, and after a very long explanation about how they bill for their time; she said yes. (I also had to take additional time out of my schedule to have them come back to make a 2nd repair). This practice of paying for a return visit for the same repair is unlike any I have ever encountered, or support. If an initial service call/repair did not work well, I have never been charged for more labor to re-do the original repair. This hardly took him any time at all. But mostly, the serviceman was INEXCUSABLY OUT OF LINE and UNPROFESSIONAL. This was a matter for his business office and me to work out. I will pay the full invoice. I hope they think this was worth $15. I guess I should have charged them a service call for my time, to return their tools.

Appliance Guys arrived on time, treated my wife with respect and professionalism, quickly identified the problem, and repaired it. My wife felt comfortable meeting with the repairman alone. Estimate was 75, total cost including repair was 130. Great experience!

Had an issue with my washer and feared that it would cost a bundle. Called the Appliance Guys, talked to someone who was very responsive, but couldn't get an appointment for a couple of days. However, they showed up on time, fixed the issue very quickly and easily, and were very professional and pleasant to work with. Would absolutely use them again.

I called Appliance Guys and left message. Later that day I got a call back from them. They scheduled for repair at 2:30pm the next day. (after when the UPS guy would deliver the part needed, not on hand. Service man arrived at 1:45 (not a problem for me, I am retired). By 2:35 he was finished installing the defrost control relay board. He explained what he was doing during the repair. Was professional, yet friendly.
Fridge has worked like a charm since.

My ice maker was not functioning at all. I called them about mid-morning and they came that day at 1:00. The repair man was prompt, pleasant, and professional. He explained what was wrong, showed me where the ice maker was broken, and replaced it. He was in and out of my house in about 30 minutes. I'm sure I could have found the part cheaper than what he charged me for it, but I think part mark-up goes with the convenience of having everything fixed quickly and easily. Would definitely call them again.

Bryan came at my earliest availability, quickly diagnosed the problem with my refrigerator, gave me an estimate that was spot-on, and returned the next day to complete the repair. He is professional, polite, and completely trustworthy. I've used him twice this year and recommend him to friends. You can't go wrong!

It was a very hard servicing. We called several companies and nobody wanted to work on it. This company was willing to. The serviceman showed up in a bad mood. He did fix the problem, but created another problem. I had to fix it myself after he left. I would go into the process of calling other companies before calling Appliance Guys.
Response from Appliance Guys LLC
"My name is Clay Walker owner of The Appliance Guys in Norman, Ok. We did the service for the member on 6/17/2011. The call was on a Whirlpool stack unit, my service tech showed up at 1:00 and found the stack unit taken apart, all it needed was a lid switch. He put it back together and checked the operation, it drained fine. The member paid the $122.89 service call, we did not receive a call back on any problems after the initial appointment. We have been doing service in Norman Ok. for 23 years and we try our best to make all our customers happy, that is our goal. We do have warranty on our services, always have, and strongly encourage our customers to call us if there are ever any issues."

It took a total of 3 trips to fix the washer. I was hoping they would have the part on the truck since I described in Detail what was wrong. The first trip out they diagnosed and ordered a part. They also ordered a part to fix the door that was broke (glad they noticed this). My only problem was how he moved the washer to fix it and how he placed it back. I have a built in stand for it in my house. He slid it and scratched the paint off of my stand on the corners. Also when he put it back he left the hoses sticking out the top and the plastic housing coming out of the wall was hanging off. I fixed these two items. Just a lack of attention to detail on his part. I would not use them again because of this.

Repair person arrived five minutes early for scheduled appointment a day after calling them. He diagnosed the problem with the refrigerator leaking water onto the floor in less than five minutes and repaired the line within thirty minutes. He was polite, professional, knowledgable, communicable and efficient. Price was very reasonable. Very pleased with the work and service. No problems with the refrigerator since the repair was made.

I have a rental property in Norman and have used the Appliance Guys a number of times and wouldn't call anyone else. Each time the cost of their labor was less than $100.00 and the only extra cost was the cost of any parts (if necessary) but even then they were always very reasonable. I will continue to use them anytime I have a need as they are prompt, dependable and reliable. You'll never have to worry about them selling you something you don't need and they will go out of their way to get you fixed up in the minimum amount of time with the least amount of expense. I have no hesitation in recommending them and I've done ALL of my business with them over the phone!
