Affordable Domestic Services is a local military family owned and operated housekeeping business. Affordable Domestic Services is proud to dedicate 20-25% of profits to helping others in our community by providing much needed assistance to people and places such as UVA Children's Hospital and as well as families with disabilities. Affordable Domestic allows you to create affordable cleaning packages by providing a list of options and packages you can chose from depending on your personal needs for you home or office. We are available for weekly, every other week or monthly as well as move in or out cleanings. We provide one time cleaning visits if you have company coming in and just want us to "freshen up" or maybe surprise someone with the gift of relaxation for a special occasion! We also give a 5% discount to our military families! We offer you the opportunity to be in control of your domestic needs by starting with the basics. For example our basic package includes the kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom for 125.00 base price, each additional room/bathroom should you chose to add on to your package would be an additional $15.00 allowing you to decide what services you prefer. This eliminates the surprise quotes you upon the initial visit of your home. We spend a maximum of 4 hours per visit.

The services were very professional. Rebecca and her sons showed up punctually and came with all necessary supplies. They did a full apartment cleaning, including: carpet steaming, carpet scrubbing, baseboard cleaning, sweeping and mopping of the entirety of the apartment, and cleaning of all appliances. I would 100% hire them again. They made my move out a breeze and I don’t know where I’d be without their help.

I would hire her again and I have recommended her to several of my friends. They did such a great job at both homes. In additional helped me with a little bit of the moving that was left, which to me was way beyond my expectations as far as service. They were very polite. She was very prepared with enough people to get the jobs done and done right, MY WAY! As far as price for the amount of work performed was very reasonable in this day and time.

My experience with Rebecca and her sons is always more than an 5 star experience. They are always on time and they always cater to the customer. I was just about to post a review and saw the post for December 18, 2019 and that is not at all Rebecca's business or the work of her son's. They just cleaned my house yesterday and just like the past 6 years that I had their services I'm always amazed everytime with the amazing work that is done. With my schedule being as busy as mine its nice to know my house us taken care if and how trust worthy they are. They definitely aren't thieves. We actually all got an email that Latoya recently quit on Rebecca and is now trying to take away her clients. When Latoya would come to my house to clean with staff outside of Rebecca and her sons, the staff looked miserable, and they kept quitting due to Latoyas leadership. Since Rebecca has been back i see a positive impact on the business. The new staff is happy and willing to make their customers the happiest. I know like me no one like change when it comes to seeing a new staff. But this business started with Rebecca and i trust her and I trust the people she hire new and old. Keep doing the outstanding work and I always look forward to your services in the future!!! :)

I used this service for many years. But the last couple times the owner who has been absent for a long time came back in with her teen son demanding that he accompany her. Soon after the first time she was back, I discovered a ring missing. The second time she insisted on bringing both her sons. My husband asked her about the ring, and she told him they had never had a problem in their entire history and stormed out of the house. My regular cleaner who has been with me and working for her for 4 years (and who always does a FABULOUS job cleaning and I LOVE her!) after she left told me that wasn't true. That another customer also had a very valuable ring missing and other customers were complaining. Shortly afterwards, she received a text informing her that she was fired. So I have hired her to clean for me directly. I would never use this company again, because they are untrustworthy. If you are trusting them to be in your house, you need to TRUST THEM! These people are liars at the least!

"I Rebecca, the owner of Affordable Domestic Services recently resigned from Army JAG where I was a supervisor for Army, Air Force, Family Exchange Services with a TSS clearance to returned to my business after learning some issues were starting yo arise. My two son's (also business owners) have adjusted their schedules to return to our family business that they too helped create prior to ANY other employees. I recently let go of an employee who seems to be the common denominator in every issue that has been brought to my attention which prompted my decision to resigned from JAG. This client's home is highly protected by video surveillance therefore I am quite confident this is simply an effort between the disgruntled employee and the client in order to keep the employee servicing this home. My sole responsibility is to ensure the honesty, integrity, and trust established between my business and my clients. I stand by my decision to terminate the employee as well as the client services I can not in good conscious continue to employee an employee if I am not comfortable with some issues that my clients have confided in me to resolve."

Affordable domestic care has been cleaning our house for over two years now. Their cleaning is excellent. The thing we like most is that they accommodate our often unpredictable schedule and are also willing to do special cleanings whenever we have need for such. Latoya is very easy to work with. Amazing!!!! The staff is by far the friendliest staff i've ever met. And the service perfomed on my home is beyond excellent. I get a warm greeting every visit and i know that Rebecca and Latoya will always make sure to treat my home as there own and ensure im getting the best quality cleaning services there is in the Charlottesville area. They'll always be #1 in my book.

My son was moving in to an apartment for his third year of college. The apartment was a typical filthy old college student apartment. The bathroom and kitchen looked like they had not been cleaned in over a year. I cannot say enough about what a nice job Affordable Domestic Services did. My son's roommate, who had lived there the previous year came home and said the place had never looked or smelled better! We will definitely use them again!

Latoya and here staff did an AMAZING job. They scrubbed from the baseboards to the crown molding, from the crevices of the stove to the top of my bookshelves. It feels like a different house! It feels like they repainted! It feels like they replaced my furniture! They even cleaned the dog beds. I am extremely impressed with this agency and can't wait to use them again.

My realtor believes that they are one of the reasons my house sold in 4 days. He told me (probably since the house was not in need of repairs... at least obvious ones) to "make sure the house is really clean." My realtor, who (in my opinion) is rarely really impressed was blown away by how clean the house was! My next door neighbor who has been housesitting was also blown away, he says he wishes his house was a fraction as clean as mine... and I have seen his house - it is not dirty! I wish I was able to see the work that Affordable Domestic Services did on the house but we have already moved out and will never actually see the work that was done; however, my realtor's reaction was "enough said" in my book! Latoya and her team had to have done a phenomenal job on cleaning that house!

Affordable Domestic Cleaners provides exceptional service. They are locally owned and operated. They care about their customers and the customer experience. The price quoted is always what you pay. The team is professional and courteous. My move-in to my new home was perfect. When buying a home, sometimes the previous owner moves out in a hurry. My home was very clean but the team made sure that the cabinets, baseboards, window sills, etc. were all wiped down. The bathrooms and kitchen were all spotless when I moved in. It felt brand new. The team went to my old home recently to clean upon my move-out. I went there after they had left and it felt and smelled fresh and clean. The floors were mopped, carpet vacuumed, everything was wiped down, and it was ready for the new owners. If you go to the other "chain" services, I would encourage you to give Affordable Domestic Cleaners a call. It is important to support local businesses that provide high quality services at reasonable prices!

Arrived on time. Very thorough, nice-smelling cleansers. Very polite & professional. My condo townhouse had not been professionally cleaned before and they really make it feel brand new. Especially pleased with the gas stove, baseboards and window blinds, all of which needed cleaning badly. Would definitely use this company again and recommend them to others.

I interacted with Kathy, who was excellent to work with and very helpful. My mom was thrilled with the present and even more thrilled with the thorough cleaning and professionalism by Kathy and her team. She couldn't have been more pleased and even called me mid-way through from the bathroom to tell me how great they were. Kathy texted me when she got there to confirm a very reasonable price that was totally in line with our previous discussions, and then followed up with me after to make arrangements for payment. It was an unusual situation, but Kathy made it so easy and I think it will be a semi-regular present for my mom. Thank you!!!!!!

They started with an in-person estimate by a very polite, knowledgeable people person. Then about 2 weeks later, as scheduled, two persons showed up right on time and immediately went to work. They were very quiet, businesslike and thorough. The only noise they made was use of a vacuum and asking a few questions. They were at the house approximately 3 1/2 hours and never stopped that I noticed. I am very impressed and would use them again in a heartbeat. In fact, we intend to.

Rebecca and her concientious crew have been with us for years. Their concern for doing a great job is always present. They are dependable, thorough and treat us and our antique furniture with the highest respect....And they are always happy to see our spoiled dogs!
