Bargain Barns is co-located with Gotcha Covered, Inc. in Noble. Gotcha Covered constructs the big weld-up buildings. I did my homework and got seven estimates for my 40 x 60 metal building and selected GC Inc. because they had the lowest price and their buildings were every bit as good as the others. They told me to expect 6 -8 weeks before construction could begin due to other projects coming before mine. Two weeks later, the blueprints were done and I was pleasantly surprised when the concrete guy, Jason Tennyson, called me the very next day to start the floor. I told Jason I wanted a flat, level floor smooth enough to sweep and that's what I got. He did an excellent job and I'm very happy with it. The building construction started a week later and proceeded rapidly. They welded up a very solid frame and did a good job with the insulation, panels, and doors. In the end, I got a well-built building much faster than I thought and it doesn't leak a drop. So why only a "B" as an overall rating? When the owner, Hope Shaw, visited the site before construction started, she told me she was concerned about "drainage issues" and didn't want to be responsible for preparing the site and the dirt work would be my responsibility. Well, that added another $1000 to the cost and Jason Tennyson, the concrete guy, eagerly accepted the job and prepared the site inside of four hours with his Bobcat and said it was nothing out of the ordinary. To this day, I've had no "drainage issues". Like everyone else, they hire sub-contractors to actually do the work and details can get overlooked. I told GC I wanted to put up 4 x 8 panels for interior walls and to build the frame accordingly. I showed up to the job site one day and there was no center support. I called about it and they immediately corrected it, however, I discovered later that the top and bottom support are too far apart and I'm now going to have to buy 160' of treated 2x4's to make my interior walls work. In a nutshell, I'm happy with my new building and I'd recommend them, but watch them closely on the details.
