They put a transmission in my car 8 months ago they told me I needed a bunch of work done that totaled $3200. They told me they could save me about $1000 If I put a used 60,000 mile transmission in it that had a 1 year warrantee. It went out 2 months ago. I had it towed back they said they fixed it. I drove it for 2 days and it the Trans stopped working. I had it towed back in they kept it for a week and a half. They called me and said it was fixed. I drove it for 2 days and it stopped working again. I had it towed back. They said it needed to have the new transmission fluid that was only 6 months old flushed and charged me $200. I drove it for3 days and it broke down again. They told me the Trans problem was a figment of my imagination and said I needed to change the plugs and have the fuel injection system flushed. I put the car in gear and it won’t move forward or reverse. I’m not a mechanic but that’s not a spark plug issue. I told them just fix the transmission so I can take it home. They have had the car for a total of 2 months. Everyday it’s a new excuse, they keep telling me tomorrow. At this point I’m not sure what to do other than let everybody know what they are doing to me. The latest excuse is that the people they buy transmissions from have sent the 3 bad transmissions. If the last 4 transmissions they bought to put in my car have been bad what in the world makes me think the next one they put in will be good. At this point I have spent $3400 and have no idea when or if I will ever see my car again. Stay away from this business!!!

I dropped off my vehicle there because my transmission was leaking fluid. I thought that the gasket had gone bad. I dropped off the vehicle on a Sunday without calling ahead or talking to the guy at all. He called me first thing Monday morning and asked about what the car was doing. He said that he thought it was probably the seals, but that he wanted to pull it in to be sure. I asked how much he thought it would be and he said that he would rather be sure about what is wrong before quoting pricing. That seemed prudent to me. He called me back about 30 minutes later and said that it was the seals on the driver side. He said this happens with Hondas. I asked if he could replace both sides, just to be sure. He said that he thought that was wise and even cut me a deal since I was doing both sides at once. He said that he would have it done by the end of the day. I met the guy around 3:30 and the car was done. He was a really nice guy who was more than willing to answer any and all questions that I had about my car and regular maintenance. I asked if he also changed oil and rotated tires. He said that rotating tires was free but that if I wanted a cheap oil change, that he could not beat the price of the oil change only places. I said that I would rather just take my car to him since he did such a good job on this issue. He said that he would charge around $50 for an oil change and rotate the tires for free. To be honest, the guy was nice, honest and straightforward. He could have claimed that my problem was worse and charged me more and I would have had to pay it. But he did the right thing and only charged me $430 for the seals with labor and everything. In addition, the guy, Jim, is easy to like and exudes honesty. That's the kind of guy I want working on my car. He said he handles all kinds of automotive issues. He is definitely my new car guy.
