Firestone Complete Auto Care Store

I received a promotional email from Firestone, offering to change a car's oil using a synthetic blend and to rotate the tires and refill wiper fluid for $24.99. Made an appointment online for 9:30am a couple of days later. Went to the appt and by 9:45 my car was in the garage area, not too bad. There were a lot of customers there. First thing the guy at the counter told me was that I couldn't get the $24.99 deal because my car really should have full up synthetic, not a blend, which would be more like $55. I told him I didn't care, that I'd take the blend. He was reluctant to do that but finally agreed to it. Wrote up the ticket and I waited, watching at the window inside to see the happenings in the garage, pretty cool feature. It took a long time, I finally got out of there at 11:00. It looked like they weren't going to rotate the tires, went up to the counter and the guy seemed surprised to know that that was Firestone's offer. He looked at the coupon and went to the garage to tell the mechanics to rotate the tires. I noticed a double charge of $5 and another one of $5.50 for "labor" which made the charge go up to $30 but at that point I just wanted to go home. Paid, got my car, immediately noticed that one of the tires looked low, checked it with my tire pressure gauge and it registered "L" for low. Drove to a gas station and inflated the tire myself. The next day my husband took his car in and got the same type of runaround. He paid for the full up synthetic, had to remind them to rotate the tires, and it took 45 minutes before his car was in the garage. I am not sure what the purpose of having an appointment is. Not a fan of the "bait and switch" type of coupon tactic. Not a fan of the guy at the register not knowing what the coupon covers. Not a fan of the "appointment".
Bottom line: I got a good oil change and tire rotation but had to fight to get it. I might go here again but only if all other options are exhausted.

For my car service I have use the local Firestone Complete Auto Care Store.

Their customer service is much better now with nicer people and they get the job done.When I take the car to them, they fix what I asked to be fixed and they give me a run down of what needs to be fixed next, if they come across a part that needs replacement soon.

If you come in for a repair and they see that it is not critical and that you really don't have to spend that money now, then, they will let you know.

They keep the records updated on their computer and which good for preventive maintenance on the car. Their Prices are not the best but they are not the worst either.

They have a nice team there and they are much more personable plus I have called them on short notice and they have taken me in. I am a repeat customer there and they have dropped me home while they fix my car and pick me up once its ready.

I had my car serviced by them about 3 months ago. Recently I had a tyre replaced which cost me $200 and a few months before that, I had some serious repair work done on the car which cost me $1,600.

I will use Firestone Complete Auto Care Store in the future again
