David and his helpers repaired part of my ceiling where I had stepped through while I was inside the attic.  No big deal. Job was satisfactory.
The problems came when I agreed to hire his wife, Deann, to paint the outside of my house.  She and her crew did a poor job painting the house.  They "worked" two weeks and did a lousy job.  She did no scraping of the old paint.  Her crew spilled paint on
the bricks and she lost quite a bit of time cleaning off the paint.  Typically, the crew consisted of 4 people, including Deann.
One day a week she would leave her crew alone so she could preach in a prison:  on those days, the crew did very little work.
One of the crew members was her daughter, who spent time flirting with another co-worker, leaving only one man doing any painting.
When she told me she was done (23 May 2014), we walked a portion of the house for an inspection.  I pointed out numerous flaws where the old paint was showing though and a second coat was needed.  Deann agreed it needed some touch-up work, but said she was "done".  It was her "last day".  She was willing to work on the spots I showed her on that face of the house, but the house needed another week's worth of work.  If you look at the paint job closely, it is spotty all over.
 
Then she went on to say I was "unpleasable".  The truth is she and her crew are lazy.  
The one thing they did right was show up on time.  They worked M-F 9-5.

Everything went good. They were on time and understood our time line and worked hard to meet it.

They showed up when the said they would...they were very clean and careful not to drip the sealent on anything but the roof...though it did take a bit for them to finally get here to do the work when they did make it, they were worth the wait....
