ASPEN ROOFING

We had 12 leaks from the hailstorm.  Did not get a new roof, but money to replace shingles, repair leaks and replace guttering.  We also replaced and painted siding on dormer windows that were rotting.
Brian contracted out the dormer work and guttering.  It was all done perfectly, timely and pleasantly.
Brian handled the roof repair.  He was upfront that the leaks would be hard to find, but guaranteed that he would come back until they were all fixed.  It was  harder and harder to get him to answer calls.  I have one leak left and he is no longer answering.  I did not use him to do any work inside.  I wanted to wait until all the leaks were fixed but that has not happened.  He often said workers would be here to work on the roof on certain days and they would arrive days later. 
We never finalized a contract and I did not get lien waivers.  I plan to give him one last call about all this.  Maybe if he sees this report, he will answer my phone call. If I get this settled, I will be glad to write a report saying so.
As a result, I have a bad taste in my mouth.  I need to make sure the other workers were paid and I will say they did a great job.

They specialize in storm damage.  The people from Aspen gave me information that another company hadn’t told me about places where hail had punched clear through my roof.  They went over the house with my insurance adjustor and they agreed on what I would need done for my home which was to replace the roof, some siding, and some gutters.  They use a siding company that does not change their profiles, meaning that if there was damage in the future they could just replace the damaged area and not do the whole house again.  They replaced the roof, the siding and a few pieces of my gutter.  He gave me some plywood that I could use to cover some bad places on my deck and did a few other things that were above and beyond what I was expecting.  There was no siding around my 3 pane window on the front of my house, they explained this situation to us and gave us many options that we could go with.  We decided to just have the area painted and Aspen split the cost with me for the painting to be done.  They told me last night that they would come back out to clean everything up.  I purchased new light fixtures for the outside of my house and they put those in for me as well.  They hauled away a tree that had fallen down in my yard.  They have been wonderful to work with and I have no complaints.

Our neighborhood was hit by a hail storm and most homes suffered severe roof damage. I called several roofers to give an estimate: some came, some did not. This roofer had contracted to do the house across the street and rang our bell. After discussing what we wanted (and making a few changes), we contracted and within a week or two work began. We had a crew of 6 and each knew what he was to do and they went about their work in a very efficient manner. The work site was kept clean. They worked from sun-up to sun-down. Most of the work was done in two days and they came back on the weekend to finish. The weekend work was interrupted by rain (both Saturday and Sunday), and they kept coming back until the job was completed. The rep. then checked the work and had the crew chief come back to finish a few details. The workers did not play loud music nor did they leave cigarette butts on the site. We were very impressed with their work ethic.

Excellent service. Company rep came out and met with insurance adjuster to help get the insurance company to pay for the damage, which they did. Work was completed quickly and cleanup was excellent. They even paid to replace some flowers that got stepped on during the job.

IT REALLY MADE ME HAPPY THAT THEY PICKED UP THE MESS THEY HAD MADE. WHEN THEY TORE THE ROOF OFF IT HAD MADE A BIG MESS. WHEN THEY WERE DONE WITH THE JOB I COULDN'T EVEN TELL THEY HAD BEEN HERE. NOW I AM GOING TO CALL THEM TO RE-ROOF OUR HOUSE.
