We are in the military and had to rent out our house. Yesterday, we
came back and our 7 year old house is ruined! Someone fell through the
ceiling in on of the bedrooms. Carpet is missing. Electric outlet broke
and loose. Back door frame destroyed by animals, even though we did not
allow them in our house. Walls are stained and cracked. Spray foam in
all corners and on edge of carpets by baseboard. Three satellite dishes
on roof with cut cables dangling off. Trash in house. Trash in attic.
Stains on garage floor from animal waste. Front door broke, someone
drilled wholes all over in the inside. Other outside door knob is dented
to the point that it is unusable. The yard is full of three feet weeds.
We also got a huge bill from the move out inspection. No one could
explain for what.
At this time, my husband is fixing the house and we will have to go to
the small claims court to be able to retrieve any money, if that.
If you are a owner do NOT rent your house out through them!

The problems with Sundance Rentals became glaringly clear when the tenants were evicted from our house with over $7K indamages. There were over six months of lost rent and then another three while the maintenance supervisor played around and did not perform the work required to get it back to rental standard. The worst part is that the tenants already had a collection history and had no credit which Sundance approved for renting our house. The biggest problems were that work that was needed was not getting done, but the managment fee was collected. That was the only consistent factor-- the managment fee was collected. When information was requested or issues came up the issue or request was ignored. I even filed three Better Business Bureau complaints that they ignored two. I finally wrote the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission and fired Sundance Rentals.
