Called Rain's to repair the rubber "boot" on my Kenmore washer. I told them the exact part and model number and they said they would order it and come out in a week to fix it. They moved the date back 2 days and when they finally came out they didn't have the part. They had to order it which took another week. When they came out the second time they repaired the washer for over $300! Much higher than the first estimate. They said they would send a bill. I didn't receive a bill for 3 weeks but just thought they billed at the end if the month. I received a phone call angrily demanding their money. I asked if they sent a bill and they said they had. They didn't believe me when I said I hadn't received it. I gave them a credit card over the phone. Next day I get a forwarded bill that had been sent to the wrong address! I called Rain's back and let them know but no apology. Overall bad service / high price / no courtesy.

"You were not called angrily demanding payment. it was asked if you had over looked the bill and were told that we had not received payment on the account. You offered and gave us your credit card number over the phone at that time and paid for the service and were told thank you at that time. Statements had been sent 2 or 3 times, which never were returned to us. We normally do not charge service calls, payment is due at the time of service."

We are very pleased with Rains. The best thing about them is that they service their appliances. When we needed a repair, they came out the same day.
