Description of Work: Paid the first installment of $500 to have the double glass patio door replaced. Have not heard from the owner Shawn Owen since payment and do not believe the glass was ordered. I doubt I will seek any other providers from Angie's List and will share my experience with everyone I can.

He looked at the house June 5th, and on the 10th I asked about the bid. Most other bids I got were around $5000 but I heard Shawn might be a bit more reasonable. Said he should have it that evening. On the 10th I texted and asked how it was coming. no reply I texted again on the 11th - no reply Same thing on the 12th around 2 pm Finally at 8 pm I asked why he was ignoring me before I left a bad review. Then he replied with a bid price of $23,500 He also said I should have bought a house in better condition and it a better neighborhood. I cannot recommend this contractor to anyone except my ex-wife.
Description of Work: he looked at inspection report and house and said he would give an estimate for the things that needed to be fixed in order to sell it.

The homeowner sent me a scope of work that called for a new driveway! New garage floor! And a long list of other things including an electrical nightmare!! You can not even get a new driveway for $5000. My electrician was an electrical inspector here in our town. We are very professional and affordable. Some people would just like to get things done for nothing in houses they payed too much for, want to sell too high and pay nothing to get it done. I challenge anybody to beat my bid on that scope of work!! I could go to his commanding officer and let them know of how one of there people are conducting business but I've got better things to do. His response to my bid was "are you smoking crack" my response was "I would like for him to not contact me anymore! And as for his threatening comment I informed he was able to post whatever he wants to, speech is free! If these are the things that Angies List allows than I'd rather not be part of it either!!
